My overall experience at Omni was disappointing and fell below the expectations of a five-star property.
Upon arrival, we discovered one of the queen beds in our room was broken. As it was late at night, we waited until the morning to report it. My friend had an uncomfortable night as a result. The following morning, resolving the issue required multiple visits and over an hour of waiting while different staff members came to inspect the bed. The process felt inefficient and poorly coordinated. Additionally, the interaction at the front desk felt inauthentic and uncomfortable. While we were offered a $100 restaurant credit for the inconvenience, it did not feel proportionate to the disruption and overall handling of the situation.
The coffee shop experience was also disappointing. On one occasion, my order was incorrect and I had to return to exchange it. More concerning, on two separate occasions I observed baristas and the cashier placing their fingers inside the cups while preparing drinks, which is highly unhygienic and not acceptable at this level of hotel.
The one positive note was the pool experience, the server there was attentive and pleasant.
Overall, the service inconsistencies, hygiene concerns, and handling of the room issue made the stay feel below the standard expected for a five-star hotel.
