'Clean and well equipped. The lighthouse is fabulous, and the views of Lake Superior and the Eagle River are stunning. The Keweenaw has always been our favorite place, and staying here made it even more special. Jan is a terrific host, a wealth of information, and most responsive to our needs. We highly recommend.'

'Our stay at Robin's Nest was absolutely perfect! It was a memoria trip as it was the one-year anniversary of my father's passing. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The yard was perfect for the two dogs to run and we enjoyed the view of Lake Superior from a distance and enjoyed some nights around the campfire. My Dad loved upper Michigan and we are hoping to make this our yearly memorial trip. It was a short drive to Lake Supeior as well as to Houghton but was very secluded....

'This is one of the best rental houses I and my friends have stayed in. Yes it’s an older house and has been maintained. Had lots of amenities and kitchen utensils and towels and laundry detergent etc etc. Beach is just across the street. Smaller restaurants within two blocks. 'The property is indeed a cozy cabin on a lake. Lovely setting-- wish we had more time to take the kayaks out on Lake Bailey. The cabin was about halfway between Eagle Harbor and Copper Harbor, so it was easy and quick to get to either place for meals or the outfitters for kayaking on Lake Superior-- and that was a superior experience! 'My husband and I were looking for a quiet place to unwind and enjoy our 30th Anniversary. This was perfect. We enjoyed strolls on the beach, reading 3 books, walks down the road and the sauna to loosen our old joints. I took the kayak out twice. We took a motorcycle ride to Copper Harbor (Brockway Mt. Road) and found little gems along the loop (Eagle Harbor has a restaurant called Fitzgeralds and Haven Woods Waterfall). Leaves were not quite peak yet. '

'The house was so nice to stay in. There is a pellet stove setup in the living room that makes for a great way to unwind after a long day out. The house is right on the lake and provides great sunsets when the weather plays nice. The beds were firm and comfortable. The soaking tub really helped us relax after a long hike.
