'I loved this hotel. It’s right next to the gate into the historic section of Noto. It’s either brand new or recently remodeled. Everything is up to date. There’s an elevator and a rooftop terrace. I stayed three nights. Breakfast is made to order. I left a bag at a restaurant and a hotel staff member went and got it for me! I would absolutely stay again. '

'Everything at san Carlo was perfect- couldn’t’ have asked for a more pleasant stay and we’ve been to many short term stays in about 40 countries. Breakfast was full and varied to suit all tastes and absolutely tasty. The suites are large and inviting. No linens were fresh and the bed extremely comfortable. Want to linger there is a cafe next to the entrance but not a sound penetratked the suite. All in all marvellous.'

'Very well located near beautiful historic area of Noto. Owners are very helpful and friendly. They also run an excellent restaurant nearby. This is a b and b, not a full service hotel. '

'Excellent location in Noto. Room was a little above basic but clean. Bathroom was spacious and included some toiletries. Appreciated having shelves in bathroom to put toiletries, etc. Wifi had strong signal. Staff was helpful but thought they would be a little more helpful based on other reviews. Breakfast was excellent. Coffee and tea made with love and care, and items appeared fresh with a lovely presentation. Although parking is not onsite, it is not too cumbersome; staff was helpful...

'Mooie nieuwe kamers, zeer goed bed, wordt goed schoongemaakt. Ontbijt is goed, zou wat meer variatie in mogen ( gekookt ei toevoegen ) keus in meerdere broodjes b.v. Op wandelafstand van het centrum. Service gericht ! Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding.'

'Skønt lille hotel med central beliggenhed. Meget imødekommende personale og den bedste morgenmad 😊 Dejlig Terese med udsigt til de smukke bygninger. Vi havde lidt svært ved at finde hotellet, da det ligger for enden af en smøge.'

'This property backs onto a busy access road and is incredibly noisy. Better windows might have helped but I doubt it. The beds are like the name - a garden of stone. We had to put blankets down under the bed sheet, it was that hard. There are no amenities and shouldn't be called a B&B as there was no breakfast. It is inexpensive, fairly clean and the owners are friendly, so this old school place might work if you value budget over comfort.'

'It was a great location. It looks a bit sketchy from the outside but once you pass through the doors you are in another world. It is a bit noisy but that is because of the proximity to popular pedestrian streets. Our only disappointment was that the air conditioning in our room (203) did not work and it was uncomfortably warm. '
