'Cozy place with great location for hiking at Grayson Highlands. The only issue we had was that the refrigerator was very noisy.'

'Things could use a good dusting.'

'Welcoming and perfect for our stay!'

'The property was exactly what we were looking for… quiet, comfortable and relaxing.Independence is a short drive away for any necessities, but we came with almost everything for a couple of fine meals. The cookware could use a little refresh, i.e., a few more pots and pans, but it all worked out fine.We weren’t able to do any stargazing because of the cloud cover, but we plan to come back in the fall/winter when the conditions are likely to be more favorable. All in all a great escape from CLT.We...

'Really nice people who responded quickly to request. Very clean. Small refrigerator had no ice trays.'

'This is an awesome place to stay! We especially liked the automatic lights on the front porch, it's nice if you arrive after dark. The hosts were wonderful and got back to us quickly when we reached out. '

'The inside of the cabin is beautiful! Some of the pictures makes you believe you have access to the lake. You do not! It is owned by a camp ground and they have no choice words to make sure you know it and stay away. Keys are in a lock box but my communication said they would be under a mat. Never was communicated the code to the lock box until the owners mother happen to drive by. She seemed more surprised than I did that I hadn't been told. They claim the wifi operates without a password but...

'Stay was peaceful. Front door could use blinds or curtains it was a little creepy at night. Hot tub had leaves and such it could have been cleaner. And firepit outside was not functional, out of propane or something and we didnt feel like dealing with it to ask about fixing it we just didnt spend as much time outdoors as we would have had it worked. Bed frame also moved a lot on the hardwoods very creaky. Needs a rug under it or more heavy frame. Overall good experience. '
