'I need a receipt for the stay'

'Driving up to the property there was no Quality Inn sign - or temporary sign. I assumed they had just purchased a Super 8. When I arrived just before midnight they told me that the room I’d purchased was sold out and then tried to upsell me. I refused and they finally gave in. The so called upgraded room had no AC on and there was no TV. At 8:30am someone tried to enter my room - without knocking. I left immediately there after. Unless you cannot find anything else available I would not...

'The folks at the front desk were very nice and helpful. The property was a bit suspect and made ya rethink staying. Of course ya get what ya paid for and nothing more. There was some lady fighting at the back of the property when we were going to our room lol the room had a few bugs crawl across the floor which hubby killed. Very noisy from the other rooms. Paper thin walls, windows and ceiling apparently. Not sure I would stay there again if given the choice but adequate for a quick overnight...

'Air conditioning did not stay on the temperature we set when going to sleep. Waking up uncomfortable during the night and looking at the thermostat, it was different each time. Also the ice machine on the first floor was not working on Sunday morning at breakfast. When we asked if we could get ice somewhere, they told us it was broken and said we could go upstairs on the second floor and get ice. We didn’t really want to go up and get ice from another floor. So we did without.'
