'This location is right in the heart of the University of Virginia grounds so it was very easy for us to drive to John Paul Jones arena for the basketball game and to Klockner Stadium for the lacrosse game. It is on a cu-de-sac with other houses. It is very close to restaurants, the Corner, and the downtown mall. 'The property is a beautiful old home from 1800's. The grounds are well kept and the bathrooms are upgraded beautifully. There are fire pits for cooler weather. It was off season so the pool and hot tubs were not available. The game room is very fun and the parlor had some snacks and drinks.'

'This hotel was under major renovation. There was a strong construction smell, even in the room. I was not sure if a ventilation fan was working in the bathroom. The breakfast area was a temporary space, previously a conference room. The tables and chairs were somethings you would see in a one star hotel. Not happy to pay $210 per night for a hotel under renovation. I would never come back to this hotel.'
