'Beautiful hotel - staff extremely helpful and efficient. Well appointed rooms - lovely decor and furnishings, bathrooms had plentiful toiletries and amenity kits. Cleanliness throughout. Food was fantastic in both restaurants - especially enjoyed the dinner at Sandemans. Big thank you to Daniel and his colleagues for making it a lovely experience - and huge congratulations to Chef and his team for the fabulous menu. The food was outstanding! 'The room was very clean and warm. Toiletries, bath robes and slippers provided (although slippers a little on the large size for me, just being a size 2) !! Staff very efficient and friendly. Breakfast very nice and served to order lovely and hot. Dinner was also delicious. Coffee/tea was served in lounge following dinner in front of a lovely roaring log fire. Overall highly recommend this excellent hotel and will definitely return in the future.'

'This wonderful pub is a gem. We stayed for two nights and found the staff, especially Daniel, to be friendly and efficient. Our rooms were very comfortable and nicely fitted out. The meals are fantastic! Their chef is very talented and serves food that would not be out of place in any high end restaurant. On Friday night we loved the gathering of musicians who played together and added a lovely atmosphere to the (full) restaurant. Parking was conveniently at the front door. We thoroughly enjoyed...
