'The house and surrounding were very nice. Exactly as described and had some nice touches left by the management company- extra soap, laundry pods, doggie poop bags. The only concerns were that the keypad on the door was temperamental and didn’t work our entire visit (thankfully there was a key in a lockbox so we could get inside when it was cold and raining) and there were several dishes put away dirty. On the main floor there is a large kitchen with added washer. The living room is split between a sitting area and dining room. 'My husband and I were visiting family close by. We also did an atv ride which was a short drive from the cottage. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The little loop of cottages was quiet and relaxing. There are many activities in the area. The cottage is close to Skowhegan, so you can get groceries there is a Walmart and Dunkins, yet it's out enough that it feels private and country like. The screened in porch was very nice. A short walk away and you are at the lake.'

'This perfect house on Sebasticook Lake was everything the pictures present. We stayed for almost a week and will definitely book another week next year. One disappointing part of our trip was that the town of Newport had already drained the lake for the season on September 11 and there was not enough water to launch the boat. If you are staying here to boat and fish please call the town before booking. The property manager was very helpful and shared some lakes nearby so not was all lost.'
