'La villa si trova in aperta campagna ed è un angolo di paradiso. Tutto era molto curato, la pulizia era perfetta ed abbiamo trovato qualunque cosa fosse necessaria in un appartamento. Infine abbiamo molto apprezzato la gentilezza del nostro host e gli omaggi al nostro arrivo (frutta fresca, olio, vino, miele, dolci, raki). Die Villa ist sauber, mit den wichtigsten Küchengeräten ausgestattet und hat einen eigenen Garten mit schattenspendenden Bäumen, wo man sehr gut Hängematten aufhängen kann. 'Wir haben uns in Maisonette Kamelia in Olive Villas zwei Wochen ab Ende April 2018 sehr wohl gefühlt. Die sehr schön renovierten Häuser stehen in schöner Landschaft mit Blick auf die Weißen Berge inmitten eines Olivenhaines etwas vom nächsten Dorf abgesetzt, es ist wirklich ganz ruhig. Ein Auto sollte man unbedingt haben (guter Parkplatz vorhanden), um die Insel erkunden zu können und um die schönen Strände und Wanderziele in der Region zu erreichen. 'From the moment our host greeted us we felt welcome and at home. The house felt like my grandmother had just walked to the market, leaving a bottle of wine, some garden veggies and a note saying make yourself at home. The only sounds we heard were the chickens and roosters and crickets. We highly recommend this for folks like informal rural living.'

'Perfect apartment with everything you ever need and more to enjoy Crete. Located against picturesque backdrop of mountain but right next to the beach, port and several restaurants. Quite town, pleasant people, no need to lock the door, enjoyed short drives to world famous beaches nearby. I loved every minute of our stay. 'Exzellente Gastgeber, Vermieterin spricht fließend deutsch, das Ferienhaus ist sehr, sehr sauber und gepflegt und hat eine unbeschreibliche Atmosphäre mit liebevollen Details im Haus und Garten. Für Urlauber in Westkreta ist das Haus nur zu empfehlen. In ein paar Minuten hat man die Schnellstraße erreicht, und von da aus sind alle Ziele der Umgebung gut zu erreichen. Flughafen Chania ist ca. 30 Minuten entfernt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden gerne wieder kommen.'

It's a short walk from the beach and the main amusements in the area, but far enough from the mess of the downtown. 'Zeer welkomeontvangst. ruim en zeer proper appartement. Dagelijks housekeeping was zalig. Ligging boven de rest van het dorp maakt dat het heerlijk rustig is. Platanias is een goede uitvalsbasis om West Kreta te ontdekken en Chania. Platanias zelf is niet zo interessant, maar heeft voldoende gelegenheden om goed te eten zodat je nooit zelf hoeft te koken'

'We stayed for two weeks at Amaryllis, and it was amazing! It is very quiet, yet still only a minute walk to town. Lovely pool bar and a nice pool with a lot of depth. Nice rooms and balconies.
