Cactus Studio: Vegan, Nature, Free Bikes & Beach

We are a little, lively community at Quinta Salamandra, ! You will be living among nature, pets, birds , geckos and some other iguana in the sun . Our buildings are very tropical , lots of wood ladders, decks, and terraces. .We are in direct contact with nature. Fresh breeze all the time. If you dont expect something exclusive and fancy , and what you are looking for is to merge into authentic mexican community life, this is your place!
The space
YOUR PRIVATE STUDIO:

This tropical studio with its Caribbean vibe has a comfortable twin bed for 2 persons .
AIR CONDITION in your room.

A kitchenette which is equipped with a little fridge, sink, coffee machine, plates, cups and a counter area for any food prepping you may wish to do. You also have a few shelves attached for any other dry storage .

Private bathroom with a shower

There is great WiFi to do home office and a wood table in your room to work or eat at.

KITCHEN:
We also have a community kitchen and dining area open to all who are staying on our property. You are welcome to use it!

YOGA TERRACE:
Our yoga terrace with hammocks will give you the feeling to be in the middle of the jungle, among trees.
There are also private yoga classes offered for those who are interested. .

POOL:
We have a little tropical pool, made of Chukum , a mayan root. Pool is perfect to refresh or just lay around it.

BIKES:
A bike comes with your room/per guest. With the beach being 4min bike ride away or the center of Playa Del Carmen, 10min, we want to make sure our guests can get to where they want to go. (Only in case of bike loss there will be a 2,500 pesos fee)

PIZZA OVEN:
We have a wonderful stone pizza oven on property where we love to have pizza nights. Make sure to ask host if you are interested.

VEGAN CHEF:
We have an amazing Vegan , Marcelino, that offers his specialties . See the pictures of food that he has cooked for guests. Inquire with host for more details and prices
Delicious Mexican breakfasts with green juice, fresh fruit, eggs , coffee , sweet bread. You can also have lunch, vegan hamburguers, banana skin tacos or five course dinners, you name it !

THE CLOSEST BEACH:
The closest beach is beautiful Punta Esmeralda, Blue Flag , just 4 min bike away down the road. There is a natural cenote floewing into the ocean. If you go early you get to see the seagulls, ocean birds and pelicans bathing there.

PARKING:
There is plenty of parking in-front of the property.

TRANSPORTATION:
There is a constant bus, which you take around the corner, that gets you straight to Playa del Carmen's Center,downtown, Walmart, etc, for $9 pesos.
During your stay
We are always available to give you the hot tips of Play and the Riviera . I speak German, English, Spanish , Italian and French if that might be of help !
Other things to note
We have a private beach Club in Grand Coral just two minutes from here on bike or eight minutes walk. The beach is lovely, wild and very private. For using the beach club facilities you pay $350 pesos and you get to consume 300 frome there in drinks or food . Its also a good spot for working and you can be there all day.

The public beach at Punta Esmeralda is free and an open for all.
