Increíble lugar para hospedarse! El hotel es de un tamaño accesible. Puedes llegar a cualquier parte de el caminando, el area de la playa es enorme y la limpian todos los días. Tiene 2 albercas, que a mi parecer la mejor es la cercana a la playa. Las habitación que tuve en el último piso estuvo increíble. Era 1 habitación con dos baños, sala y comedor con una pequeña cocineta. Y un increíble jacuzzi exterior. Todo es sumamente bonito y con un ambiente completamente natural. El restaurante Italiano es delicioso con porciones buenas. En el buffet ya sea desayuno o lunch siempre tuvieron muchas opciones de platillos. Bebidas súper ricas y comida deliciosa Todo el staff muy amable, el único pero que le encuentro a la propiedad, es que no hay suficiente staff en los bares. Solo dejan a 1 barman para atender cada bar. La espera es larga y como no hay meseros en alberca y playa ellos deben salir a buscar los vasos para estar surtiendo su área. Así que recomendación lleven su termo para que ahí les sirvan sus bebidas. Fue una experiencia increíble!!!!!!

We were in The Reef in 2016 and there are a lot of improvements since then. The palm trees on the beach got bigger over time and combining them with the umbrellas there is a lot of shade all day long for those who like to hide from Sun. It’s a quiet place for family vacation with enough activities. Cleanliness is exceptional. Food is great. The staff is nice and friendly.

The hotel looks cool. But most staff at the bar and snack bar are grumpy. Or seem like they dont want to be there. Maybe they are over worked. Not enough staff. Also the food at the restaurants is awful. It takes about 2 hours to have dinner. I wouldn't get all inclusive.

I loved the fact that the facility had a lot of nature, almost as if you were in the jungle. Also, the rooms were modern with a mini fridge, a nice shower, nice beds, and a balcony. The main thing I would say to improve is the food. The continental food options were edible, but sometimes were not as flavorful as expected. I would have wanted to see more traditional Mexican cruisine, like tamales, tacos, nachos, quesadillas, chicken and rice, and more.

This is not a large resort with a huge amount of options but I love the quaint feel here. Main dining room - buffet style is good & changed main dishes daily - food was good. Beach & pools were nice. El hotel es muy bueno, tranquilo y tiene un ambiente agradable, tipo selva, con areas de descanzo muy cómodas. Tiene Spa y un Temazcal donde nos atendieron Adela y Rosario, haciendo que la actividad en el Temazcal fuera excelente. En el áre de las albercas tiene personal que organia actividades recreatias muy buenas, como son el acua-aerobics y Bingo. Los instructores Mayra y Luigi son muy activos y muy amables, haciendo que las actividades se disfruten. El restaurante principal es tipo buffet, con comida rica y con buena variedad de platillos. La playa es muy tranquila, el mar tiene una gama de colores azules impresionante a la vista. Además cuentan con camstros ideales para descanzar y relajarte frnte a la playa, mientras tomas una bebida del bar. Definitivamente es un lugar donde volveria a paras otras vacaciones.

Good value for the money. Very walkable property among treed paths with a large cenote. 15 minute walk to 5th avenue. The main restaurant area for buffet dining is spectacular with an ocean view and some exterior tables. The service was hit and miss depending on the waiters. Overall we weren’t disappointed.

The Reef was amazing. The staff were all very friendly & the property is absolutely beautiful. The resort offers several activities and we took part in several. By far my favorite activity was the Mayan purification ritual. We went into a hut to sweat out all of our toxins. The woman who conducts the ritual, Rosa, is amazing. We also had a massage which was top tier. Highly recommend both of these things if youre looking to relax. The property is within walking distance of a pharmacy, starbucks, bar, shopping area, 24 hour doctor and about a 5 min cab ride to 5th street. We have already started to plan our return for next year. Side note; I went to Mexico for dental work that i couldn't afford in the USA. Sani Dental was amazing. They are affordable and very professional. Its also within a 5 min cab ride from the Reef resort.

Property was easily walkable end to end and had nice beach access. Had a mostly enjoyable stay. Warning to those (just as other reviews), the concierge tries to get you to go to a timeshare pitch at their sister hotel. As long as you don’t buy into that - should be a good time

We stayed for 4 nights with kids and family. It is very family friendly but not many activities for kids. We loved the clean beach and pool areas, as well as the property being small enough to be able to walk back and forth. Our favorite bar tender was Alberto, he took good care of us. He was amazing and went above and beyond during our stay. The food was not great at all, not many selection and nothing great for kids to eat. It seemed old and reheated. The 2 restaurants they have serve very little food, we found ourselves going out of the hotel for dinner at times. The night entertainment is ok, not the best. The drinks are too sweet unless you ask for specific drinks to be made. No great liquor to choose from Definitely a big downside with no good food and drinks when you're paying for all inclusive
