'The property itself was very outdated and not the most clean but it served its purpose for a family friendly, pet friendly stop on a road trip. The pool area needs work and the rooms were not clean at all, stains on carpeting and curtains but bedding and towels were clean. The breakfast was really pleasant and a lot of offerings. The staff was so helpful and friendly, providing a basketball for my kids to play on the court and when I inquired about an ice maker to fill my cooler the kitchen...

'I’ve been in my share of Holiday Inn Express’, but this one in on the bottom of my list. Very indifferent staff (by arrival and check-out). I booked a king and got 2 queens.. further, walls are thin, you can hear conversations in the room next door. Neighbourhood is sketchy. Room was clean, i have to say. '

'It was pretty good. We didnt even get a chance to check out the pool or gym or anything. The elevators were having problems and parking a block down the street in a rundown parking lot that also had elevator issuesis a pain,especially if you are in a hurry. Our room in general was not in great shape. The staff was friendly.'

'Good location. Close to the convention center if you have a need to be there. Because of this, however, I suspect large groups are always at this hotel. When we arrived, there was a USA gymnastics event in town. The lobby was overrun with girls, parents and noise all evening. Our room was fairly quiet though. Updates needed for sticky doors and loose outlets/ports. Overall 4/5'

'Not the greatest neighborhood, but the bed was clean and comfortable, however the floor was filthy (as my husband had white socks on and they were black). A lot of humidity in the room and it seemed damp. Went down once to ask a question to the person working the front desk - nowhere to be found. Also asked later about pizza places - he mentioned Domino's(?) but we found a Pies & Pints a few blocks away (which was really good!) Picked this place because it was close to 77 and it had...

'Sarah checked us in and was extremely helpful. We had arrived early and our rooms were ready for check in. She assisted with recommendations for hiking and restaurants in the area. We stayed for two days and had a lovely time. The staff was nice and courteous. Very nice rooms with updated amenities. Definitely recommend staying here and will stay here again if I'm back in the area'

'We have been staying at this hotel at least twice a year for 8 years. The staff are always welcoming, kind and helpful. My complaint is that new ownership (we were told this by staff) has taken over and the cost of the rooms went up significantly. The cost has outpaced the return and sadly — we will find another place to stay in the future. This is not a reflection on the staff — they are and have always been great.'

'We chose this hotel because it had 2 treadmills. We arrived and 1 was broken. No one knew why or any idea when it would be fixed. More importantly no one cared. Had to spend extra money at planet fitness. Nobody cared.'
