'It was the first time at the Residence Inn. We have stayed at a few other hotels in the area while attending the Pleasanton Scottish Highland Gathering & Games. It was a very pleasant stay. 'It’s a Marriott. I swear wherever I stay in their properties worldwide, the same room follows me! It’s certainly clean and safe with plenty of parking. Good selection is convenient but boring. Far better to venture out to a nearby restaurant. However we did have room service the night we arrived and it was delivered quick and in disposable trays in a brown bag.
