'Enjoy Don's cottage - the screened in patio was lovely to enjoy coffee and do some light office work. Kitchen had enough of everything to heat or prepare simple meals. Hot water was plentiful and pressure good in the shower. Bed was comfortable. The area is very quiet at night but during the day there is a small business next door that you do hear light people chatter/deliveries. I would say this location is like a modern cabin - just enough of everything but still feels rustic.'

'The house was beautiful inside, seemed to be recently remodeled within the last couple years. Property was clean, has a little grocery store right behind the property, I mean less than 50 yards, but you’d never know!! That was super convenient! Main Street was less than a block away! Just an all around awesome experience!'

'A nice house with a great location, easy to get to everything on the island. Having a playground across the street was extremely helpful with two small kids. Only critique was that the twin mattress were slippery enough that my kids fell out of bed. They are both on twin beds at home and we were suprised that was an issue. Other than that great!'

'We had a few days to get away and decided to explore Chincoteague. It rained or was cloudy for most of our trip, but we still had a great time. The cottage’s location was perfect for walking anywhere. We especially enjoyed the Island Creamery and Steamers. Coming home to the cute, clean, and cozy cottage made our time in the island that much more enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again!'

'We loved the cottage. Perfect location to everything on the island. Was within walking distance to the seafood festival and shops. The screened porch was a nice place to enjoy our morning coffee. The cottage had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy. We highly recommend staying there. We are considering a summer visit and hope the cottage is available if we do.'

'This was our second time staying here, with our first being during the summer. The cottage is very clean and overall quite pleasant with a location perfect for bicycling into town and to the beach. However, this cottage really needs heat if it is to be rented during the cooler months. The owner did provide a portable heater at our request, which did warm the place, but was very noisy. Would stay again but only in the warmer weather. '

'This property had a plumbing issue at the time we were to be there. Christine moved us to another property, oyster haven. She couldnt have been nicer to accommodate us. Cute place! Convenient as well.'

'Vacation very enjoyable and peaceful'

'We only had a short stay to relax away from work but the weather didn’t cooperate (rainy and windy). Luckily the cottage was cozy and we enjoyed our books and each other. Only suggestion, need a sponge or brush to help in cleaning up after meals. Would definitely recommend to others'

'Sarah and her family did such a wonderful job with this loft it was beautiful and comfy. Loved how much they had in this place for your stay, they thought of everything! We would book this again and stay longer to meet the animals, family and just to get away from it all. You want a quite, peaceful night sleep with the sound of frogs and crickets this is your place!!!'
