'The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. View was beautiful from our room as we faced the ocean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room has a new unit for air conditioning and heat. Breakfast was not what we were expecting as it was included. Small amount of scrambled eggs with two sausages with one slice of toast. Coffee and hot water for tea. Juices and milk oh a fridge in a back room. All plastic utensils and hard to find napkins. They need to improve on breakfast.'

'I liked the friendly staff. We arrived at 10pm, but we were still given information about local hikes and options about where to eat. Our room had a fridge and microwave, We were able to get a cot as well.'

'Bottom line: this is a fun place to stay, and I think you will enjoy yourself if you stay here. House needs (and deserves) some TLC. The house could comfortably accommodate 8 guests, and maybe 2-4 more. We were not really familiar with Rita McNeil prior to our visit, but if you are, this place will be a thrill for you (it's her former home).
