'There is a rural farm nearby, so it was nice to be able to feel the rural scenery. It was especially nice to see black cows grazing nearby while eating breakfast. It is not too far from downtown, so there is no need to stay in the expensive downtown area if having a rental or own car. However, I stayed in a room equipped with an induction stove and kitchen, but the induction stove did not work, and it did not have dishes or plates, so it seems to have been operated in the past.'

'When booking, people should be informed that there is an area to remove your suitcases from the trunk of the car and leave them at reception. before going searching for a parking place. The lighting above the bed could be improved a bit as you cannot lie in bed and read as the lighting isn't strong enough. We love the fact that there was a restaurant and bar right next door didn't have to go far to get something to eat or drink. Would definitely recommend it to anyone'

'The hotel was amazing and far exceeded our expectations. At check-in Tracy was fantastic. Our room was spacious for a family of four. The hotel was clean and well maintain. It was in walking distance of everything we wanted to see which was nice. Later on the evening Tracy acted as our bartender and again was fabulous. Wish we were spending a second night. '

'This was such a lovely stay - highly recommend! Excellent location, convenient walk from downtown Charlottetown restaurants, sights and waterfront. Spacious rooms! Knowledgeable and welcoming staff made the visit memorable! There are some rooms which also face the water - see if you can request one for a fantastic view! If you are driving, downtown Charlottetown parking can be challenging to find so I recommend getting valet parking, leaving your car and then exploring downtown! '

The room we had was not large but had everything you need including a mini kitchen. I marked four stars on facilities only because the bathroom ceiling is a little low. My husband and I are above average height so anyone above six feet may be concerned.
