'Friendly and greeted by owner David at check in.. He show us around and explained where everything is. Very nice property location and beautiful view, and beach is in short walking distance. Kitchen available if one like to use for personal cooking. Nice size frig in ones room for day travels needs Our room on ground level with two clean share bathroom with shower. Overall my personal nightly stay rating is 10/10. '

'This place is magical. While it's not a hotel and is classified as hostel. It feels like a big cottage. It is friendly,welcoming and full of character. A FULL equipped kitchen (I mean fully as in you have use of EVERYTHING from the full gas range/griddle/oven and barbecue right through cooking utensils,cast-iron pots,pans, dishes and glassware. There are lounge areas to sit in and plenty of tables as well as a breakfast bar. Now outside they have planted a fresh herb garden including chives....

'Very convenient location midway between Cavendish and Charlottetown and only a couple of minutes from Brackley Beach provincial park. Room and bathroom were very clean. Beds were comfortable and our room had a large back window where we could watch the osprey nest in the field ! Staff were friendly and helpful. We found we had to let the hot water tap run for a few minutes to get hot water but it did get quite hot with patience. Definitely will stay there again. '

'I had to leave without using my second night because I had gotten sick and wasn’t able to access a refund through the hotel. They said I would need to go through Expedia so I am very unhappy because I am getting a run around. I did not expect to get sick!'

A special shout out to Donna and her kitchen staff that put on a wonderful breakfast every morning. Also thank you to front desk staff that kept the coffee going all night long. 'Our stay at Fairholm was exceptional. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful (specifically Sam who we mostly dealt with, but anyone we interacted with). They went above and beyond to assist with any questions or needs. The grounds are beautiful, we had an apartment and it was so nice to have the option the make food and sit at one of the outdoor spaces and have dinner or breakfast. When you want to go out everything downtown/waterfront is a few minutes walk. The most ideal location....
