Mooie Chalet Style huis op 5 prive-hectare in de wijk Sierra Springs wacht op u en uw gezin te genieten! 2600 m² huis met grote woonkamer met houtkachel en grote eetkamer met zonovergoten ramen voor uw familiediners of een speciaal diner voor twee. Bekijk onze vele beoordelingen van gasten die dit geweldige huis beschrijven en het plezier dat ze hadden.

Geniet van het uitzicht vanuit elke kamer: de wijngaard van de heer, wilde kalkoenen en herten terwijl u geniet van het buitenleven met dek rondom en balkons vanuit elke slaapkamer. Twee niveaus met een ligbad met bad op elke verdieping. Ouderslaapkamer met bad op lager niveau.

Volledig ingerichte keuken met tegels, hardhouten vloer en alle apparatuur, keukengerei en serviesgoed. Plafondventilatoren in alle kamers. Extra groot terras met eettafels en grill.

Maak wandelingen door het bos of ga naar Apple Hill of naar veel van de wijngaarden in de omgeving. Het is een korte 45 minuten rijden om te skiën en sleeën en een korte 3 mijl naar Sly Park Lake Recreation Area voor varen, zwemmen, waterskiën, kajakken en bootverhuur

We had a fantastic stay over the Fourth of July weekend! The house was even nicer than the photos—clean, spacious, and very well stocked with everything we needed. It was a quick, easy drive from the Bay Area, and the location was perfect for relaxing and exploring. We saw deer right outside, enjoyed kayaking at nearby Jenkinson Lake, and loved using the community pool. Kathleen was friendly and very responsive. This was the perfect weekend getaway spot—we’d definitely stay again!

Fun for a quick winter getaway

Great place, very cozy. We lucked out and got there after a recent snow, so the kids had about 6 inches for sledding and building forts and stuff. I'm sure it would be equally wonderful in the summer. One bit of advice if driving up in the winter is take the Sly Park exit -- Apple Maps directed us a different way and we had a hard time getting up the road, even with chains on.

Cozy and spacious cabin

We had an amazing stay at Kathleen and Simon's chalet! The house is easy to get to and avoided some of the Tahoe traffic, but was close enough for day trips up to the snow. The kitchen was fully stocked and made cooking for our families easy and convenient. The house was a great size and very open yet provided separate areas for different activities so you didn't feel like you were right on top of each other the entire time. A huge property and large wrap around deck were also a nice plus! The beds were also very comfortable and the place was very clean. We look forward to coming back and staying again, it is a great location for anytime of the year. Providing easy access to snow and a big lake is close by for summertime activities and hiking as well. And it took less than 3 hours to get to from SF! The wifi was pretty spotty and there was not a central tv, which was also a perk for our group since we are avid campers and like to disconnect. The house was fully stocked, but remember to bring your own toiletries ;-). I would absolutely recommend this place to stay and look forward to coming back and sharing more memories here again!

Best family Thanksgiving ever!

We had an amazing time at Kathleen and Simon's home! It was the perfect location for a snow-filled Thanksgiving--sleds were available for us to use and we sure did use them to the max, as the home's front, side, and back yards were the perfect sledding venue; we've never had more fun just playing in the snow (kids and adults both). And despite the PG&E power outage we arrived to on our first day, the entire house was kept warm and inviting by the amazing wood fireplace/oven that was the center of the great room and my family was able to gather around, enjoy each other's company and spend a very nice Thanksgiving together. Once the power outage was over, we were able to see and enjoy all that the house was to offer, which was plenty. It was the perfect size for our family of 10 and it had everything we needed for a truly wonderful family Thanksgiving. Thank you Kathleen and Simon for sharing your wonderful home with us!

Lovely Family Gathering Spot

What a lovely home! It is a little older but has some seriously awesome charm. I saw another reviewer commented that the house was not clean.Not my experience, I was actually surprised how spotless the house was. I didn't even see any dust! The deck is in need of a bit of repair, but we just told the kiddos to not lean on the railing and all was good. I would highly recommend this property to anyone with a big group there is plenty of space to roam and the two community pools are lovely and just a quick drive.

We stayed during New Years Eve holiday with 3 families and the property was roomy and comfortable - close to skiing or lake- the clubhouse has Pool table, Ping pong and football our kids loved playing. I would recommend .

Great Layout and Location

The location couldn't have been better for us as we were spending Thanksgiving with family in the same neighborhood. The layout of the home was great. Very spacious and open. The kitchen was well stocked too. The three instead of five stars is due to the cleanliness of the house. It was filthy. While the sheets appeared clean with a surface clean of the bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms, the dust, dirt and cobwebs were a bit much. Puffs of dust/dirt literally clouded up when you sat on the couches or tapped the arms of the furniture. The bathroom drawers were full of half used toiletries of previous renters. With a deep clean with routine cleanings between renters, this will be a five star rental!

Cozy secluded and peaceful

We only had a short weekend to enjoy the space, but it was so relaxing and we would definitely rent this house again. The deck is amazing, and it was so lovely to sit out at night and enjoy the silence. The owners have put a lot of work and time into giving you all the information you need to arrive there safely and explore the area. Loved this place. It is amazing if you love the fresh air and peaceful sounds of the night. Polite wild deer to great you as you arrive. The house has everything you need to accommodate you'r loved ones. Could not have asked for anything more from the owners, very pelite. Best decision you can make is staying here.

Beautiful, Comfortable, Great Location Home!

We loved every part of our stay at this vacation home! The owner was very responsive and quick to answer all of our questions! The home is very roomy and super accessible. We had 4 adults 2 kids and a baby and we all were very comfortable. Plenty of seating and even games. The master bedroom is definitely big enough for a pack n play and still has a sitting area that has a great view! The home isn't far from the lake and grocery store. There was plenty of utensils/pots/pans for cooking. We loved sitting outside enjoying the view of the surrounding woods. It was very quiet and peaceful. There was a great book provided by the owner that gave outing ideas/places to go. We would definitely return!
