'River crest is a lovely comfortable well equipped cottage with everything we needed for our weeks stay. It was clean and has a good shower. The bed was cosy and comfortable. The best thing is the view across looe and out to sea. Looe is a very nice place to stay with good shops and pubs. It is handy for a number of national trust properties. Lanhydrock and Antony are worth visiting. Polperro Fowey and Seaton are nearby and worth a visit. There are steps down to the cottage which need care but we...

'Mooie comfortabele cottage met smaak ingericht. Wandelen kan vertrekkend uit het huis. Afgelegen qua winkelen en verplaatsingen nemen steeds veel tijd.'

'Wir haben 3 wunderschöne Wochen in diesem perfekten Cottage verbracht. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und immer zur Stelle wenn es nötig war. Sehr erfreut waren wir über das Willkommenspaket mit cornischen Leckereien. Dieses Objekt kann man auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier Urlaub machen. '

'The hosts were very helpful and pleasant. The accommodation was well equipped, clean a nd comfortable. Comfortable beds. The added extras were great, fruit basket, prosecco, biscuits and haribos as well as tea, coffee and milk. Very satisfied'

'This was such a lovely, quiet stay, the home (Cottage 3) was well equipped, warm, and extremely comfortable. The facilities at the pool were great and the kids loved it! Communication on how to enter, exit, etc was perfect - no issues, no complaints - thank you for the wonderful stay. '

'Clean tasteful barn conversion, pretty much in the middle of nowhere, but all you require within a 15 min drive.A great personal touch from the owners, which included a handful of food bags to feed their animals. What's not to love. Deffo returning at some stage and will be pointing all friends and relatives in this direction'

'Alles valt op zijn plaars. Alles is netjes en schoon. Barry en Kirsti zijn zeer gastvrij en losjes in de omgang. Geven tips als je er om verlegen zit. Omgeving is super rustig. We hebben echt genoten en kunnen dit verblijf zeer zeker aanbevelen als uitvalbasis voor dagtrips. '

'We had a super week in this lovely part of Cornwall. The house was spacious, well appointed and very very quiet. St Austell and the local beaches were in easy reach and the stunning coastline yielded great walks. With Eden and Heligon nearby there was plenty to keep us occupied.'

'Great location and well set up with everything you would need. Lovely comfy bed and couldn’t be more convenient for getting into the town. Couldn’t help but notice a couple of things though. The microwave didn’t cook which was frustrating and we noticed the cleaner turned up with a new one as we left so it was clearly something the owner was aware of. The shower leaks from the corner of the tray especially if you use the horizontal part. You can hear the neighbours when sat in the lounge and...

'We loved Polruan. The view from the cottage is spectacular over the harbour and Fowey. There are beautiful walks on your doorstep. The cottage is very cosy, the bed very comfy and we enjoyed the local shops and pub. Everyone we met was very friendly. We would love to come back.'

"Slechte bedden, veel te klein en door gelegen. In de spa werden geen handdoeken gebruikt in de sauna, de hamman stinkt naar zweet. Veel achterstallig onderhoud en slechte herstellingen aan de tegels, douches…etc uitgeleefd. Kinderen mochten niet in het bubbelbad, kinderen mochten maar beperkt in het zwembad op bepaalde tijden. Werk personeel wandelde met vieze schoenen zonder bescherming door het zwembad. Bij het ontbijt ontbraken broodjes. Een beetje vergane glorie. En de tafel bij het onthaal kwam zeer onverzorgd over, geen welkom drankje na een reis van 6uur weinig uitleg of begeleiding over wat mogelijk was. Zeker Geen aanrader voor mensen met kinderen, te weinig faciliteiten voor kinderen. Niet tevreden ik had dit Veel beter verwacht en vooral de Slechte bedden met het vele tapijt in de cottage is niet aangenaam."
