'We had an amazing time at Bosneives Cottages. The cottage is well equipped and very beautiful. There are a few other cottages on the grounds, but it was quiet throughout. If you need anything, you can just call on the host family who are very responsive. We took in a lot of this beautiful part of Cornwall. 'The best part of the house was the view on the river Fowey and all the boats passing by and the ferry that went every 10 minutes. The house was beautiful modern equipped and comfortable. Things like coffee pads, tea, sugar etc. were provided. In front of the house there was a nice area to sit and watch boats and people go by. We had a terrific time! There are lots of places to eat out or have a drink in Fowey. A perfect house in a perfect place!'

'Alles valt op zijn plaars. Alles is netjes en schoon. Barry en Kirsti zijn zeer gastvrij en losjes in de omgang. Geven tips als je er om verlegen zit. Omgeving is super rustig. We hebben echt genoten en kunnen dit verblijf zeer zeker aanbevelen als uitvalbasis voor dagtrips. '

The host Michael had sent me a very informative email before our stay and then sent a check-in email during our stay. The park itself is quiet and the lodges aren't on top of each other. 'Great location and well set up with everything you would need. Lovely comfy bed and couldn’t be more convenient for getting into the town. Couldn’t help but notice a couple of things though. The microwave didn’t cook which was frustrating and we noticed the cleaner turned up with a new one as we left so it was clearly something the owner was aware of. 'We loved Polruan. The view from the cottage is spectacular over the harbour and Fowey. There are beautiful walks on your doorstep. The cottage is very cosy, the bed very comfy and we enjoyed the local shops and pub. Everyone we met was very friendly. We would love to come back.'

The Cornwall Hotel Spa & Estate

6/10 Redelijk

"Slechte bedden, veel te klein en door gelegen. In de spa werden geen handdoeken gebruikt in de sauna, de hamman stinkt naar zweet. Veel achterstallig onderhoud en slechte herstellingen aan de tegels, douches…etc uitgeleefd. Kinderen mochten niet in het bubbelbad, kinderen mochten maar beperkt in het zwembad op bepaalde tijden. Werk personeel wandelde met vieze schoenen zonder bescherming door het zwembad. Bij het ontbijt ontbraken broodjes. Een beetje vergane glorie. En de tafel bij het onthaal kwam zeer onverzorgd over, geen welkom drankje na een reis van 6uur weinig uitleg of begeleiding over wat mogelijk was. Zeker Geen aanrader voor mensen met kinderen, te weinig faciliteiten voor kinderen. Niet tevreden ik had dit Veel beter verwacht en vooral de Slechte bedden met het vele tapijt in de cottage is niet aangenaam."
