Niet erg romantisch, maar goed voor die ene nacht om 's morgens heel vroeg naar het vliegveld terug te keren.

- Comfortabel hotel met voorzieningen zoals healthcenter en zwembad - Ligging is niet in het centrum van de stad, maar wij hadden een huurauto en onder het hotel is een gratis parkeergarage voor gasten. - Ontbijtbuffet met veel keuze (ook nog op het eind van het buffet) - Goede WIFI - Prima snelheid van de service dienst (probleem met safe werden binnen 5 minuten opgelost)

Ver van het centrum
Het VIP Executive is een mooi en luxe hotel. Je kunt er alles vinden wat je nodig hebt. Er is een Gym, maar die was niet kosteloos, een zwembad wat kleiner is dan de foto je doet vermoeden, een restaurant zonder sfeer en de bar... ach we hebben er twee keer gezeten. Ze hebben hun best gedaan maar van gezellige inrichting hebben ze geen kaas gegeten. Alles is een beetje kil. Desalniettemin is het hotel ons zeker niet tegen gevallen. Het is schoon, een heerlijke douche, het bed was wat hard, het personeel is vriendelijk en het ontbijtbuffet enorm. Het hotel ligt zo'n 20 minuten lopen vanaf het echte centrum en in de wijk waar het hotel ligt is niet veel te zien.

Prima hotel met een zakelijke sfeer
VIP Eecutive, gekozen als startpunt om iedere dag een route over het eiland te doen. Met huurauto de ideale uitvalsbasis. Als je geen huurauto hebt, niet de ideale locatie, het is ongeveer 20 minuten lopen naar het centrum van Ponta Delgada. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt is prima, buffet van avond eten ook (geen creaties). Kamer is ruim en netjes, kamers aan de voorzijde kijken uit op de haven van Ponta Delgada. Prijs/ kwaliteit verhouding is heel goed.

I was happy to spend my holidays in the comfortable VIP Executive Hotel in Porta Delgada. The only point to improve is to propose a more various breakfast. All other points related to my staying are excellent. Looking forward to come back

Large room size and great balcony view…
The hotel is not city center. It is a bit of a walk or an inexpensive Uber. The carpets need shampooing cleaning or replacing. The rooms are. A nice size as well as thr bathrooms, lots of space. Deep tubs and good body lotion. The balcony had a nice view of the rolling and if the water. The front staff were very friendly. Avoid the breakfast, better places to eat in the city and front host was over officious and rude. I decided not to complain because there was a line to see the manager. The hosts English and manners could use some improvement. Rio was very friendly as was their porter Ruben and a woman with bright eyes and dark hair. The manager on staff was young and had a similar surliness to the breakfast host, the attitude seemed all about money instead hosting and comfort. Hire more people like Rio and Ruben and the woman who’s name I didn’t get. Over all for a good price k would stay again because of the room sizes. Otherwise find something more city center The pool is small.

Friendly and helpful staff. Did not use many of the amenities, but from what I can tell had everything you could ask for. Comfortable rooms, a little dated but had all things you would expect.

This property was in a great location. Everything was walkable but at the same time at a decent distance from the city. Walking distance also to the pineapple plantation which is a must see. Only a 10 minute drive from the airport so very quick and easy to and from there. @exploration_wonders approved !

Nice hotel. Was able to check in early which was amazing after a red eye flight. Staff was super friendly. Rooftop view was amazing. Rooms were clean and comfortable, albeit a bit small. About a 15 minute walk to the water. Overall, we had a great stay here and would highly recommend it.

The hotel could’ve used some more outlets. It was difficult finding it behind the desk. Also the hotel did not provide a coffee machine. Other than that, it was comfortable and clean but a little far from town. Price was good.

Excelente para umas férias em São Miguel
Hotel bem localizado e excelente para férías em família. Staff muito simpático e a limpeza era excelente. O pequeno-almoço para um 4 estrelas podia ser melhor.

PARADISE in PUNTA DELGADA
OMG, this was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The first impression of this luxury hotel is that it's way beyond your pay grade! It's a large, modern luxury hotel with a great location. When the airport shuttle dropped me off down the street I actually walked past this hotel, assuming that the inexpensive hotel I booked would be smaller and more modest. Wow, did this hotel have all the bells and whistles! The front desk staff was friendly and professional (and all spoke excellent English). The hotel is clean and quiet and has all sorts of amenities. I never checked out the pool, sauna or rooftop deck (it was February, after all). Splurge for the optional continental breakfast--you'll be glad you did. There are many expensive hotels here but booking here was like getting a five star hotel for a much lower price point. There's a gigantic supermarket 2 blocks away, and two of the four public bus lines stop in front of/behind the hotel. It's a quick 20 minute walk down to the harbor (all downhill) if you're so inclined. The front desk was so helpful photocopying the public bus schedule for me (a great way to get the lay of the land). They were also incredibly patient finding me two full-day guided tours. No question about it--I know where I'm staying on my next trip to Punta Delgada!

Gostei imenso do atendimento e das instalações. O pequeno-almoço acho que deviam ter mais diversidade e mais produto regional. Acaba por ser um pequeno almoço vulgar e não tradicional. Estava à espera de mais coisas regionais.

Special thanks to front desk member Racquel!
The hotel has a lot of amenities and is priced very well! But it was the front desk people especially Racquel who great and made me feel very comfortable. Rui was also really good. This will be my regular choice of hotel in Ponta Delgada mostly because of the staff.
