'It was exactly as described. We wanted a camping experience but with the comfort of a bed. It is a walk to the beach/lake like it states. The Porcupine trail to the beach is shorter but not maintained. (Wear long pants & good shoes.) We did see 1 bear during our stay on the Lake Trail, so be aware! 'Clean modern cabin with all the little things you need. The kitchen area has enough appliances to make meals, and there is a vacuum and fan in the living area. The peace and quiet was amazing and took a little time for this city girl to get used to. I ran into deer just hanging out on the trail to my cabin. I will recommend to anyone who wants to go about 50% rustic, with a cabin with electricity, but can live without full plumbing.'

'Cabin and property were great. We love staying here and enjoy the nature and the lake! Many opportunities for other activities, depending on what you want to do just a car drive away. 'We very much enjoyed our stay. It was a great landing spot within quick driving distance of so many hiking trails, beaches, and waterfalls that we couldn’t find time to see them all! Also a quick drive to town where you can find anything you might need. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms are bigger than they look in the pictures. The yard was a nice place to relax around the fire at night and watch the stars. Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely return. '

'It's a wonderful little cabin with all you'd ever need. Make sure to take advantage of the private beach, which is just a short drive away. just an FYI it is located next to 13 so there is quite a bit of traffic noise, this didn't bother me, but it was some.Added bonus, there was an apple tree for picking. All in all a wonderful day and I would highly recommend.'
