The Neighborhood:
Welcome to the world-famous Alberta Arts District! This is Portland at its best—a creative, colorful, and soulful neighborhood where you’ll find murals, boutiques, and beloved food carts. Wake up and stroll to Proud Mary for coffee, grab ice cream at Salt & Straw, or head to Alberta Park just a few blocks away. Don’t miss Pine State Biscuits or Tin Shed for brunch and a soak at Kennedy School (separate reservation and admission required). This neighborhood is buzzing with energy and walkable charm while still feeling residential and relaxed.
Getting Around:
🚶 Walking — You're a block from NE Alberta Street in the Alberta Arts District, with cafes, restaurants, galleries, and shops within an easy walk. Alberta Park is a few blocks away.
🚌 Bus — TriMet Line 72 (Killingsworth/82nd Ave) runs on nearby NE Killingsworth St, with connections across the city. Check trimet.org for the best route downtown.
🚲 Biking — BIKETOWN bike-share serves the area. Portland's bike lanes make cycling a great option for exploring nearby neighborhoods.
🚗 Driving — Free street parking is subject to posted signs and available spaces. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) pickup times vary.
✈️ Airport — PDX is reachable by car; allow for traffic.
Other Things to Note:
This is a ground-floor studio with three exterior steps and no interior stairs, under or beside the living room of the adjacent townhouse-style unit, with a locked interior connecting door to the larger unit. The studio is private, but voices, footsteps, and stair/door noise from upstairs/adjacent guests can be audible when that unit is occupied. Light sleepers may prefer another listing or want to bring earplugs/white noise.
* This listing can be booked with an adjacent townhome on the other side of the building. Because of such, there is a locked door that can connect in the listing. This door however, is locked and remains locked unless both listings are rented together.
** The studios in this building are all ground floor and face south which sits next to an industrial building that faces NE Alberta - occasional noise from bars, restaurants and otherwise urban sounds can be audible at times
