Pros: Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Clean bedding and linens. Sparkling bathroom. working fridge, microwave and kitchen sink. Quiet (no small feat when surrounded by a freeway and busy arterials). Excellent security with a room-key-activated motorized gate. Many fun places to visit along Sandy Blvd, including a wonderful French patisserie/restaurant (went there twice), Voodoo Donuts and some really great bars, like the Sandy Hut and the Moon and Sixpence Pub. Cool restored historic movie theater two or 3 blocks away. Cons: Some cigarette burns in the rug. I wasn't about to do my push-up workout on that rug. Excellent value.

For the reviews and the number of stars, I was expecting more. There was no coffee maker or coffee in the room, no table or chairs. The room number was written on a piece of paper and taped to the door. I choose this property as it is close to Providence Medical Center, and I had to be there the next morning for a procedure. I will not be staying there again.

The couple that checked me in were kind and friendly, but the room was filthy. There was hair and lint on the bedding, the towels were stained and felt thin and wimpy, and there were mystery stains EVERYWHERE on the rugs, most notably some large neon pink blotches in various places and some red droplet stains on the floor by the door. The photos of the property were completely different than what I got, not to mention the photos show the bed with three pillows and a comforter, but my bed only had two pillows and a thin fleece sheet.

When we checked in and opened our room, it had never been cleaned. We had to go to the front desk and has a mate. Come back and clean thebro so we had to wait a little while longer for them to come in and properly clean the room.

Property used to be a troublesome one, these new folks have really turned it around. They had put up security fences and Gates so that you can feel safe inside. I will say that the interiors could use some updating and I'm sure that's exactly what they have in mind.

I wouldn't recommend this place to a homeless person! Horrible neighborhood, security gate broken, graffiti on the buildings, as if all this wasn't bad enough the last straw was pulling back the bedspread to find dirty stained sheets! I have pictures of course. My husband politely explained the situation to which the manager said no problem that had a new cleaning staff and that our card hadn't been charged yet and it would not be. Well guess what, it was charged full price and upon request from not one but two Expedia reps, they refused to refund our money. WORDS OF ADVISE THIS PLACE IS A DUMP AND THEY ARE DON'T HONOR THEIR WORD, DO NOT STAY HERE!

I made a mistake with the reservation, and the owners were more than accomodating to help us correct it. Very well lit, apartment like hotel rooms. There was more room than antifcipated. A cute little kitchenette, and a spacious bathroom. It was a quick stay, but I am glad this is the place that we found for the night.

Underwhelming stay
I was charged even though I explained to the woman working it had been taken care of on the app. I didn’t want to argue as English was not her first language and I was tired; just wanted to get checked in. The tv didn’t work and the exit gate was bolted locked so leaving was a chore. Overall very disappointing.
