Lovely inn and nice neighborhood in Portland
The inn was lovely for a brief overnight stay in Portland - close to the waterfront with restaurants and activities, but far enough away so that it was quiet. We had a tasty and hearty breakfast before continuing on our journey.

Beautiful inn, great service
This historic inn is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Our host was nice and helpful. The location is good- about 10-15 minute walk to everything, and right next to the art museum. Highly recommend!

We were only in Portland for a night, bit Debbie the Inn Keeper was fantastic. This place has a ton of charm and is very quaint. A great area for walking around.

The B and B was super comfortable, friendly and had an amazing breakfast with poached pears, and eggs Benedict with crab cake and croissant! The home made cookies that were always available were delicious.

Amazing!! Lovely little b&b, cozy room, super comfortable bed, and a surprisingly delicious breakfast! The staff was so kind and made us feel like we were home. Between the hospitality, location, price, free parking spot, free breakfast, and comfortable room, you can’t beat this place! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Our stay was very memorable. John and Gene were incredibly accommodating, kind and resourceful. Perfect location for walking to amazing restaurants, shops and local attractions. Breakfast was an eleven on a scale of one to ten.

A wonderful gem of a B&B experience.
I’ve traveled all over the world, and my stay at the Inn at Park Spring ranks as one of my all-time favorites. Not only is it a very comfortable and homey inn, closely located to many points of interest, but John, the innkeeper during my stay, was an incredibly gracious host. Delicious breakfast, convenient parking, comfortable room, great hospitality. I cannot wait to return!

Perfect location in an eminently walkable small city—Arts District? Two blocks that way. Old Port? Six blocks this way. Free off-street parking in a parking-challenged city is a major plus. John (the host) is a friendly Portland enthusiast with great knowledge of the city and things to do on and off the beaten path—and makes killer gourmet breakfasts and snacks. House itself is a lovely mid-19th century place with modern amenities. Only potential negatives are stairs to the entrance and rooms (if climbing is a problem for you; wasn’t for us) and a curious lack of coffee outside breakfast hours. (Hot water, tea and snacks are always there, so why not single-serve coffee bags?) So, take away a 10th of a point, give it a 9.9, and know we’ll be back!

We had a great stay at the inn. The accommodations were wonderful. John the inn keeper was very personable and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We were able to walk to dinner and the concert we went to. Great location. Would definitely stay there again.

From the moment we checked in to the Inn we felt right at hone. Our inkeeoer, John Friend, made gourmet breakfasts daily, and gave us excellent recommendations for activities food and drink, Every afternoon there were fresh baked cookies waiting for us in the dining room! The Inn is lovely, clean and very comfortable and is within walking distance to Okd Port and several museums. We highly recommend The Inn at Park Speing for your stay in Portland!

A wonderful place to stay
From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and shown to our room. The room was extremely comfortable and had everything you needed. The hotel was in close proximity to everything. Recommendations were made on where to visit, hire bikes, have a good coffee. Breakfast was amazing and the whole experience had a degree of elegance and thoughtfulness to it, which made our stay most enjoyable.

Beautiful Stay in the Middle of the City
My wife and I travelled to Portland, ME for the Kevin Hart show. We had never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast so didn't know what to expect. We were a 5 minute walk to the show, in the middle of lovely restaurants, and driving distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Debbie was AMAZING and was a quality cook for the included breakfasts. My wife and I will DEFINITELY be back.

I loved everything!
Buddy is the owner and just lovely. Includes parking and breakfast, which is unheard of in Portland. Breakfast was delicious! Home made eggs benedict on a criossant with fruit salad. I'll definitely be going back.

Great weekend get away
Perfect place to stay for a weekend away to destress before the holiday season. Deb and Buddy are wonderful hosts! We will definitely be back next year. Breakfast was amazing! Deb’s chocolate banana brioche French toast was awesome. Just far enough away from Congress street that you don’t hear the noise but close enough to enjoy walking around in the city without being too far from the hotel.

Great location and so cute!
I ended up staying at this place by accident. I booked it when a friend and I had a concert to go to at Aura and I didn't realize that it was a B&B at the time, but it ended up working out. The staff was wonderful and very pleasant. The common areas were very cute and well decorated. Our bedroom had a very comfortable queen size bed and we had our own bathroom, which you don't typically get at a B&B. From the very delicious breakfast in the morning to the white noise machine in the bedroom, they really thought of everything. I would recommend this place to anyone and plan on staying there again.

Absolutely lovely experience!!
i was only in portland for the night, having spent the majority of my trip in the harbor towns. figured i'd end in portland so i could be close to the airport. Debbie made and this place made me lament that i was not staying longer! Owner is superduper sweet, accommodating, considerate, and informative. There was a last minute cancellation and she upgraded me to a bigger room without charging extra. And it was such a lovely room! i LOVED the old fashioned riding desk! the decor and feel was charming- it had a nice old school personality while still being very comfortable. Sooo comfortable! I couldn't decide whether I wanted to sit and read at the desk, on the couch, on in a leather chair because they all were comfortable. And that was just in my room! Downstairs there is a grand piano that you are allowed to tinkle on, as well as a large dvd library. And i can't help but give super points for an array of snacks that you can pilfer from whenever- packaged chips, cookies, etc, as well as actual homemade/baked fresh- and hot chocolate. My breakfast was a chocolate swirl, eggnog soaked, grilled french toast with a side of sausage. Yeah, pretty ridiculous. I had a great time here and hope I can make it back to Maine JUST TO STAY HERE. Thanks, Debbie!!!!

Quaint Inn close to everything!
Lovely B&B close to amazing bars and restaurants. Was able to walk to shops and happy hour and dinner! Spent a quick over night trip there and the manager (can’t remeber her name) was very helpful and welcoming! Room was spacious, shower was phenomenal (especially for an older home). Looking forward to a cup of tea and a two course breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend!!!

Romantic B&B walking distant to beach, restaurants
Dab called us and did an informal check in as she has out of town guest to attend to. She is very sweet and gave us clear instruction to check in. She informed us there will be fresh bake cookies, tea bags, drinking water waiting for us in the warm and romantic dining room. There is very classy decorated living room too. Room is very well decorated and clean and smells good. We have very comfortable stay. We also enjoyed the breakfast prepared by Dab and served by Nina. Dab also gave us excellent recommendation to local restaurants to enjoy lobsters, clams and beer. Love it and enjoyed our stayed very much. We wish to stay for one more night but regret they were fully booked that weekend. Will stay again if and when we travel to Portland, Maine.

My husband and i were NOT disappointed with the beautiful, charming Inn at Park Spring. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfasts, great location, a block from Portland Art Museum and a quick drive into town (Commercial ST) Very friendly and helpful staff: Buddy, Debbie and Nina. Parking, which can be problematic in Portland was provided at the Inn. That is a big plus. Kudos to Debbie for her pumpkin spice cookies! Nice homey touch. Well run and delightful inn. Go there; you will love it!

We felt right at home in this very cosy and charming inn. The hostess and her assistant were both very friendly. Excellent breakfast, most comfortable bed ever, impeccable cleanliness. Perfect central location close to everything. We walked to eat dinner at Central Provision, a very hip yet friendly and affordable restaurant in the old port neighborhood. We totally recommand it to foodies like us. The Portland Museum of Art was the central point of our stay and it was better than expected. Awesome collections.

Great location, great B&B!
Amazing couple weekend in Portland. We've stayed at other B&B's in the area but this one has been our favorite and we will surely return. Overall great location to plenty of restaurants and short 15 minute walk to Old Port. That is if you were hungry enough after the amazing breakfasts served. Don't waste time looking at more places, this is the place!
