This place is nightmare and should be shut down. I can’t believe the Maine Hospitality Ass allows this place to operate and have the nerve to charge 200 dollars per night.

Do not stay here. 30+ yrs of mold/mildew and smoke baked into the walls and carpet. Carpet is sticky. Thought to myself "I just need to stay somewhere tonight. I'll probably get used to the smell and I can put on flip-flops to walk to the bathroom". Then I felt the bed - moist. Not a word you want to associate with a bed. Another word? Sticky. Told them I couldn't stay there 'cause it was too gross. I was informed that it was their policy that if I'd been in the room more than 30m that they'd charge me for the 1st night (I was there about 45m). Note: they have a policy for this. A policy. In the end, we agreed I'd pay a $25 "cleaning fee". The only proof anyone had been in the room was an old receipt in the garbage and I'd turned down the bed, but whatever. I'd pay $25 to not stay there any day.

Stayed overnight on our way to somewhere else. Room was on the bottom floor which smelled damp and moldy. Impossible to ignore.

Where is the door?
I finally found someone in the Thai restaurant who knew where the front entrance was. It is immediately adjacent to the highway. Despite that, the room was quiet, clean and comfortable. No surprises.

This property was incredibly musty, and overpriced. I found a roach in my room. It was non smoking but smelled of smoke and mold. Parking is awkward compared to where you enter. The area around the property was safe.

Online booking makes the hotel look a lot nicer and overall more updated than it actually is. The room was decently clean but had a strong odor, we went out and bought febreeze. The hotel hallways are extremely dark and a little sketchy. Okay for just a place to sleep but would not visit with little kids.

Convenient. Only reason we stayed here was every other option was double the price ($650plus). Not worth the $350 bucks to stay here. Very smelly in hallways and lobby. Melted iron stain on floor in our room. Shower was like being power washed. Only plus was it was 10 min drive to downtown Portland.

Over night stay
A bit expensive for the accommodations. The website did not mention a pool in the accommodation so we didnt bring bathing suits, we would have used the pool. We had an early bus so we didnt have a lot of time there, but it was clean, slthough quite dated. I was happy with the size of the room. The front desk personnel was very friendly.

The hotel room was clean and comfortable and since we were only staying for a night that was our primary concern. It is a ten minute drive from downtown but there are places to eat close by. There is a pool but they were waiting on permits before they could allow guests to use it. There breakfast was a nice touch.

Halls and room smelled terribly of mold and mildew. I broke out in a rash while changing my clothes. I left there immediately. You have to drive down an alley past the dumpster of the Chinese restaurant it abuts. Did not feel safe there at all. Another reason why I left without staying there. And used Expedia and cannot get refund. I will NEVER use Expedia again.

The room size was ok, the customer service was not bad or good really… just “ok”. The room doesn’t look like it’s ever deep cleaned. There where spider webs in the corners, and old dead bugs beside the bed. The place smelled of smoke and old mold. It was very humid inside which could be why it smelled that way. The room is fine if you just need something for a couple hours but after that you may end up with a headache.
