Wonderful spot in Portland
My husband and I spent three days in Portland and this was a great location in a nice little neighborhood. The photos were 100% accurate and we will definitely look to come back when we return to Portland.

Top floor with a great view!
We had a wonderful time! Incredible views of Casco Bay, that we were able to watch fireworks from on 4th of July (after our little one requested to go home from the promenade). Modern and clean. Would love to stay again!

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable in a perfect location. We enjoyed the ocean views. We were able to walk to restaurants and enjoy runs by the bay.

Lovely stay in Munjoy Hill
We had a lovely stay in the apartment which was very clean and well equipped. It was just a short walk from the Eastern Promenade and a 5 minute drive to Old Port. The apartment was very modern and beds and linens were high quality. I highly recommend staying here!

The views of the water from the master and living space were amazing. Loved they we could walk to Old Port… it might be a tad far for some. The neighborhood was cute and quiet. Would stay here again when we come back.

Great location
Place was extremely clean. Beds were super comfortable. Very nice accommodations & ammenities. Only real issues were back door lock wasn't working properly, once we got it fixed we just used front door. Cartridge went bad in shower, so it was very tricky turning shower on & off. Lots of steps to climb, but was good exercise & worth the view. Would def. Stay here again.

Impressed and then not
It is nicely decorated , clean, plenty of towels. First impression was good. But bathroom door did not close easily and if you forced it , it was then hard to get open . Bath tub drained slow . Of the various places I have stayed they always had a book or pages for the guest to explain almost everything . They had you sign if you used purple trash bags but then didn’t tell you if you needed to sit trash somewhere when you left . But the topper was on second night around 9 we discovered the one toilet roll that was provided was empty. I contacted number provided and explained problem and they advised they would contact someone . We left at 1000 am and still no paper . Yes we searched every nook and cranny . Also around 950 workers wanted in, thought we were gone .

No A/C, No response to question/Overpriced/No closet space
The apartment was clean and in a good location. Parking was hit and miss, depending on the day and time. Check-in time was much later compared to most places. 6-hours for turnover time is a bit absurd. We stayed there during a heatwave, paying more than $1,200 for three nights. While the listing continues to say it has air conditioning in one spot and partial AC in the other, it's a lie. There is no air conditioning. It was in the 90s during our visit and the apartment was in the high 80s even late at night, making for a miserable, sleepless stay. I had sent the host a question on VRBO bout the A/C before my visit and asked if they had fans to supplement the "partial" A/C. I never got a response. I thought there may be a chance the A/C would be limited to the bedrooms in window units. They didn't answer and they didn't provide a single fan in the apartment. There was no A/C unit ANYWHERE. There was a large window, one of the only ones that opened in the master bedroom, with no screen. Is that where the A/C was supposed to be? It was a great way to get in bugs when you can barely breathe from the heat when the other windows in the room don't open. As others reported, the closets are completely full of the owners crap. Talk about welcoming. Another nice touch was the obnoxious note on the washer and dryer. I didn't even touch them because they make it sound like they'll sue you for opening the door incorrectly. These hosts don't care about their guests, and VRBO should remove the AC claim. Please spend your money elsewhere. I should request a full refund.

Great location, nice updates
We loved the location in the East End, close to the promenade and the food trucks but still an easy 20 minute (downhill) walk to the main downtown area of Portland. There are two sets of steep and narrow steps to climb to get to the unit so keep that in mind. The windows were huge and let in tons of light, and luckily also a breeze as the AC was not functioning. There is no closet space, a portable unit or armoire in that bedroom would be nice but we only used one room so we used the closet in the second bedroom.

I will say the apartment was clean and in an excellent location. The property manager was very responsive to our issues but on multiple occasions there was NO HOT water, which is an issue especially when you have children. There were issues with the heat as well. These are things you expect to have when booking. I hope that these issues are fixed for the next guests.

Great space
We needed a base while our hardwood floors were being refinished and found this place for a great winter price. Very clean, nice furnishings, small bathroom but it has a heater—yes, thank you! The third floor has nice views of Casco Bay and we talked about how fun it would be in the summer, with the food trucks and walking paths and the beach all within walking distance. Thanks for the nice place to hang out for a week.

What we expected and then some
This rental was absolute perfection. I spent a weekend here with my boyfriend and we felt right at home. It was exactly as described but waking up to the view of the ocean was even more stunning than words can do justice. The apartment is spacious and modern, and was left immaculately clean and well equipped with everything we needed from cooking supplies to toiletries and everything in between. The location is close enough to restaurants and other places to be convenient but tucked away enough on the third floor to provide a sense of peace and isolation. Being 2 blocks from the Eastern Promenade makes you feel like you’re surrounded by nature while being in the heart of a vibrant city. The only qualm we had, if we had to pick one, was that the internet connection was sometimes very slow with my MacBook, but seemed to work better with a PC for some reason..? Would definitely recommend this apartment 10/10 to everyone!

overall good, but not a place for cooking
The place was very clean and cozy, great view, spacious rooms and perfect for us. We love the bathroom, it has a ceiling fan with a heater !!! Location is great too, tons of amazing seafood restaurants nearby. We bought some seafood from the nearby seafood market and cooked 2-3 times during our 4 nights stay. We had an issue with the sink, it got blocked easily and the waste disposer did not work. Also unpleasant experience with vacasa. We wanted to extend our stay and literally 2 hours after confirming with vacasa, they increased price. Unbelievable ! Yet, price dropped almost half a week later.

This apartment was in a great location. We loved the proximity to the Eastern Promenade and the great cafes, little markets, and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment was clean, light filled, and spacious and has great views of the bay.

Clean and nice but…..
Overall enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and nicely decorated, however, there was absolutely no place to put visitors things. There was a tiny space to hang some things in the second bedroom but no drawers at all or other hang up space. There were two large closets in the largest bedroom but those were to be kept private for the owner. Initial flight of stairs coming up would be a challenge for anyone with even slight mobility issues.

Our 2 couples were traveling through Portland from Missouri thru Maine. At last moment we chose to stay in Portland. I’m so thankful we didn’t miss the opportunity to stay at this location. My husband is already talking about a return trip and staying at this same location. Definitely a gem!!!

Although we had great views and a few walking distance coffee shops and restaurants, we wish we would’ve stayed closer to old port. Still a wonderful apartment and the coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants near us were excellent.

I stayed at this place for few days with my boyfriend. It’s very bright, clean and has nice open space. The apartment has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The kitchen has a lot of utensils and big island. The windows around the apartment bring a lot of natural light in the main area and we loved we were able to see the ocean! There is no private parking but we found parking in front of the house very easily. We definitely recommend this place!

The property was recently remodeled and looks very nice. I was surprised there is no microwave in the kitchen but otherwise it is well appointed. The biggest drawback was the 2 flights of stairs to the apartment. I realized there was one flight from the pictures but were surprised to find that there were two. I would not recommend it for senior visitors. I was not able to park near the apartment most of my visit but was able to remain on the same street. I was aware that there was only on street parking. It is inconvenient not having a closet in the main/master bedroom. There was a sign stating it was for the owners only. If I had an extended stay, this would be a big detriment for me. Owners items should be in a locked closet that isn't in the bedrooms.
