Very convenient place to stay, everything is pretty walkable from the apartment. Apartment was pretty clean and came with a kitchenette. The bedroom is upstairs but it’s open from above the door, so it could be scary if you go close to the edge. We used the fan upstairs where the bed is because as most buildings in Portugal, the ventilation is not the best. We were able to drop off our luggage earlier, but not the check out day. Check in/out instructions were clear and straight forward. You do have to make sure you have data though because you get the check in instructions the day of. Not sure what the winery experience is as part of this review. We did a wine tour but not related to the renting this property.
