Mooi hotel met sfeervolle en zorgvuldige inrichting, aardig personeel. Er werd uitgebreid de tijd genomen om je wegwijs te maken in de stad. Elke dag werd er goed schoongemaakt en waar nodig aangevuld. Ook was het mogelijk om eerder al gebruik te maken van het ontbijt om ons vliegtuig te halen.

Een pareltje!
De kamer was royaal qua grootte, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien; WiFi was prima. Prachtige ontbijtkamer en een goed en royaal ontbijt. Enigste minpuntje is de afstand tot het historische centrum. In ruil daarvoor zit je dan wel op een rustige en goedbereikbare locatie. Na een lange dag de toerist uitgehangen te hebben is het heerlijk vertoeven in de tuin van het kasteeltje.

Verrassend hotel
Zo'n hotel verwacht je niet te vinden midden in een (best wel) rustige straat. Eenmaal vpornij het hek bevind je je in een oase van rust. Super schoon en nette kamers. Het centrum is op ongeveer een kwartier loopafstand. Ontbijten in een kasteeltje en het was een goed ontbijt. Een aanrader!

Mooi en romantisch
Mooi hotel met vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Wij hadden een kamer met kingsize bed en een had. Deze kamers zitten niet in het kasteel maar zijn erbij gebouwd. Dit zijn mooie ruime kamers en het bed was comfortabel met een prima matras. Het ontbijt is echt heel uitgebreid. Ligging is ook goed. Je moet ongeveer 15 minuten lopen naar het centrum (berg af, dus terug naar hotel is wel berg op tenzij je de metro neemt die vlakbij het hotel ligt). Wij vonden het een hele goede ervaring.

Lovely helpful staff at reception. We had an issue with first room and they were able to move us for second half of stay. Parking is tricky but available. Be sure to ask for a rubber shower mat as the shower base is treacherously slick. About 2 blocks to metro in nice park or several blocks down hill to main (Centro) shopping area and further on to riverfront.

Beautiful property and cleanliness and breakfast and rooms to include small but beautiful dining/breakfast area. Grounds well maintained. Safe parking and secure premises. Downside: breakfast starts a 08:00. Most tours have ck in at 08:30. Walking down to center easy but coming back up “tough”. Very little available in area.

キャッスルの方に宿泊しました。全体的に古いですが、雰囲気のあるホテルです。 不便だったのはエレベーターがない事。荷物の上げ下ろしはスタッフの方にお願いしました。皆さん快く対応していただけました。それとシャワーが出にくかった事。 割と坂の上にあるので、行きは歩きで大抵行けますが、帰りは疲労もありuberを使用しました。 雰囲気のあるホテルで観光にも便利だと思います。朝食は種類が多く楽しかったです。

This property was amazing in that it was vast with lots of gorgeous grounds and outdoor seating. There was even an orange orchard. The breakfasts were more than adequate and breakfast staff very helpful. The owner showed us the chapel on the ground and gave us a history of the property. The buildings and the ceramics were delightful. The locked gate was extra security. The front office staff were more than helpful with ideas. They even had umbrellas at our door when it was raining. The refrigerated our wine and provided ice which they delivered to our room. We got to know other travellers at breakfast.

Magnificent hotel with a very special ambiance
We stayed three nights in this classy hotel. It was a very special stay in a magnificent castle. The premises are kept meticulously clean and are just beautiful. All the furnishings were just beautiful. The bedroom was spacious and beautifully appointed and the bathroom was beautiful, all in marble, and very clean. You need to pull into a relatively narrow gated area and then press a button and they will open the gate for you to get in. We overshot the first time, because it was not easy to find. The location is very good. You walk all the way downhill towards the centre, the market and the Ribeiro area in approximately 20 minutes. Restaurants and shopping is nearby, so is public transport. There is a Metro station not too far away and for convenience. There are a few abandoned properties in the area which look sketchy at night, but that doesn’t take away from the area in my opinion.The staff at reception was friendly and helpful. The staff at breakfast was also super kind and accommodating. The only thing is that you have to carry your luggage up a few flights of stairs, as there is no elevator in the hotel itself (only to get from parking to reception).Breakfast fast plentiful and healthy with a great selection overall. They had an amazing selection of sweet pastries. We loved our stay at this hotel and can highly recommend it due to its spectacular ambiance. We would definitely return and stay here again.

Great stay with morning castle view
Had a lovely stay in a picturesque setting with a castle that I would wake up to every morning. Nice gated complex with 24-hour concierge. Nice rooms, and was pleasantly upgraded. Nice breakfast included in an area in the older historic castle part of the building. Requests addressed promptly. Location is a 10 min walk to downtown central. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, and provided us with a tourist attractions map to easily find. We actually extended our stay at this location for another 3-days for a total of 6-days. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay again. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Really like that this hotel has gated parking. Also near the metro. Staff are really nice. There is a park nearby as well. Very close to downtown.
