Prettig Hotel in het centrum van Porto. Alles is op loopafstand te bereiken. Je auto kan aan de overkant in een parkeergarage en de betaling loopt via de receptie van het Hotel. Het Hotel en de kamers zijn van een moderne entourage. Als het erg druk is, is de ontbijtruimte een beetje aan de kleine kant. Ontbijtspits is meestal rond 9 uur.

Het personeel was buitengewoon vriendelijk en behulpzaam en creëerde een hele gemoedelijke en prettige sfeer in de bar/lobby van het hotel. Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en van goede kwaliteit. Het enige minpuntje van de hotelkamer was dat er te weinig haken waren aan de muur bijv bij binnenkomst om je jas aan op te hangen of bijv je handdoek bij de wastafel.

This is the first hotel that I've stayed at that didn't have a ground floor entry lobby and reception desk. We were directed to the second floor bar and lounge area to be checked in by a young woman at her laptop computer. The staff was friendly enough, and when I said that this arrangement was rather strange, her response was "Yes! We're different." When we reached our room I was taken aback by the furnishings and decor. It was a small room for two people, and it had no area for storing luggage amd little space to hang clothing. The furnishings were minimal and more like in a college dormitory than in very good rated hotel. Other than for the bed, which was comfortable, there was not on other soft surface in the room. The appointments in the bath were minimal without even a towel bar to use for safety. Being an architect, I could see that the space was poorly dimensioned and probably didn't meet standard building codes. Additionally, the sink was located in the sleeping area adjacent to what was supposed to be a desk. There was just one hard chair in the room, and I had to request another chair to put luggage on. The final insult was one small window in a sloping part of the ceiling from which we could see nothing. I have no idea what other rooms in the hotel looked like, but I will never recommend this hotel based on what I experienced though the one very positive feature was the excellent breakfast that was served.

Nice shower, bathrooms were good. Having the small balcony was really nice. The hotel was kept very clean! The staff were friendly. Bed sheets were too hot for the season. You had to ask to have the room temperature changed. A few more hangers would have been nice. Overall, VERY happy with the hotel.

Emplacement très intéressant pour explorer Porto. A proximité du marché Bolhao, de la rue Sta Catarina et de nombreux commerces, cet hôtel est bien placé. La chambre était spacieuse et bien décorée. La salle de bain est spacieuse mais la paroi de douche étant petite on en met partout quand on se douche. Non rapport qualite/prix

Pros: Amazing staff. Close to downtown. Nice bar. Cons: Weird shower design kept causing floor to get wet. A/C couldn't go below 25.5 C, quite hot. Paper cups for brushing teeth were quite flimsy.

The hotel was fine. decent location not too far from the sights. Few bars and a really good market close by. No safes in the room or tea and coffee facilities. It served its purpose. Was relatively quiet too. Aircon was good. Shower tray overfilled if you had the water on too high.

In Portugal the Ibis do not have these facilities in the rooms, anyway the hotel has a safe at the reception, just talk to the receptionist and as a courtesy we provide 2 coffee machines that are in the breakfast room for the customer to serve.Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope your next visit will be as pleasant as the previous one.
