Fijne bungalow, aan alles gedacht qua voorzieningen (behalve koffie zet apparaat), schoon, vriendelijk personeel en huisbaas, attent en behulpzaam, makkelijk te bereiken. Goede tips via Telegram. Fijn contact. Plaats buiten met barbecue erg leuk, omringd door planten.

Amazing Porto
Doelstelling was: Porto en omgeving te ervaren en niet enkel te verblijven. Mede met de hulp van de mensen van Porto Island zijn wij daar meer dan in geslaagd. Tips waar te eten (daar waar Portugezen eten) waren zeer welkom. Geen dag of moment aan de gebruikelijke amerikaanse ketens gedacht. De locale restaurants waren verre weg beter.

Locazione piccola ma molto confortevole, ristrutturata e comoda x chi sceglie abitazione dotata di tutti gli attrezzi x cucinare, piastra a induzione aria condizionata un po' lontana dal centro città ma nei pressi del vialone che porta dritti all'oceano.. Gentilissimo il proprietario.

Exceptionally well-equipped self-catering studio - even soap, washing-up liquid/cloths provided. Code locks add flexibility to check-in/out. Several units share pleasant outside space tucked away from road noise. Close to buses and a 10-15 minute walk from Francos metro. Supermarkets & restaurants close by. Proprietor very friendly and helpful.

Muy amable y muy pendiente de nuestra estancia. El apartamento es pequeño pero muy acogedor y con todo lo necesario, muy limpio y muy bien equipado. Algo alejado de los lugares de interés, pero muy cerca paradas de autobuses, para nosotros no era problema, nos gusta patearnos la ciudad. El único pero es que falló el wifi pero fue solucionado rápidamente. Si volviésemos no volveríamos alojar alli, lo recomiendo.

Estupendo!
Un lugar muy agradable y bien cuidado. Las habitaciones muy limpias y con todo lo necesario y los propietarios atentos y amables. La terraza compartida era un poco pequeña pero acogedora, muy agradable para salir a desayunar, tomar el aire y fumar un cigarro antes de ir a hacer turismo. Recomendado.

Muy amables y con todo lo necesario para una buena estancia. Camas cómodas. Sugerencias: faltaría un ventilador en verano. No sabíamos donde tirar la basura. El ultimo día aparecieron arañitas en el baño.

Muchas gracías por compartir su experiencia. Nos alegra que haya apreciado su estancia. Hay un bote de basura al otro lado de la calle, frente al albergue, como mostramos a su llegada. Sí, tenemos un ventilador en cada habitacion, había un en su habitación. Mientras el albergue se encuentra frente a un jardín, algunos insectos pueden entrar si deja la puerta aberta, aunque nadie antes nos ha dicho eso. Siempre hemos estado en contacto y a su disposición y nunca ha mencionado los aspectos enumerados aquí. Gracias una vez mas y un cordial saludo

appartement parfait avec tout le matériel neuf (literie, meuble , sdb,) accueil parfait (le personnel a fait tous les efforts avec beaucoup de patience pour que nous puissions le comprendre, notre anglais étant très scolaire) et petit plus il avait une dégustation de porto de prévu pour nous dans notre chambre; on a très envie d'y retourner très très rapidement

la struttura è facile da trovare, è particolare come insediamento, molto tranquillo anche se abbastanza vicino al centro e ben servito dai mezzi pubblici. attorno ci sono dei posti per mangiare molto comodi come il mercato del Bom Success a 15 minuti a piedi. La comunicazione per il check -in è stata facile e tempestiva così come l'accoglienza. Hanno risposto in modo esauriente e gentile a tutte le nostre domande. Per di più è anche molto comoda per l'aereoporto. Se tornerò a Porto la terrò senz'altro rpesente. grazie Marina

I had an excellent stay in Port island hotel. Received a good informative welcome from Sofia on arrival. The apartment offers everything you need as it entirely self contained. The hotel is located in the business area of Porto with 5-minute walking distance to a grocery store. It’s a 10 to 15-minute walk or 5-minute bus ride to the closest train station Casa da Música, and from there its only a few stations to the centre of town. I met Sofias parents in the small courtyard at different times during my stay as they are very involved with everything running smoothly and gave helpful advice on where to go and places to see. Very nice people.

Great stay!
We had a great stay at Porto Island, upon our arrival. we received a warm welcome and lots of recommendations for our visit in Porto. It was easy to reach the city center by bus and metro, but as we had lovely weather we enjoyed the walk in to the center each day, at a leisurely pace it took us about 40-50mins. We visited in the winter, but our hosts had made sure there were blankets and a space heater available which meant we were very comfortable. Excellent grocery store and cafe's are just around the corner and it's a quiet location. Our hosts were very communicative, and easily reached over text. We would absolutely recommend a stay at Porto Island, for anyone who wishes to be comfortable, but out of the hustle and bustle of the city center.

Wir waren 6 Tage lang in Porto Island und sind mit dieser Unterkunft sehr zufrieden. Appartement ist sehr sauber für die Leute die gerne kochen gibt`s alles was man dazu braucht. Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis ist OK , empfehlenswert für die Paare.

This property was everything that we needed. It was clean, comfortable and close to transportation. We had rented a car and parking was available but if we needed to take the bus it was very close by and convenient. The hosts were very hospitable and made sure everything was taken care of. They offered suggestions for nearby restaurants and were always very accommodating. It was nice to meet the whole family they were very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay in Porto.

Établissement à la fois près de la plage, du centre ( accessible à pied ou en bus ) bon réseau de communication. Les chambres sont propres, spacieuses bien équipées. Des propriétaires très sympas. Je recommande cet établissement.

Ideal place to explore the city
Cosy, quirky, charming chalet style accomodation. Staying here is staying in a part of Porto's history. This Is a porto island. Bijou, funky and functional. Recently refurbished to high standard. Fresh decor, good furnishings, fast wifi, fabulous shower, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen with a gorgeous courtyard garden for breakfast or barbecue or just relaxing.... You will meet the family, who are all delightful, Sofia speaks many languages and is keen to tell you all about the city she loves. You will also meet the other guests in the courtyard, who all seem to be like minded and happy with this little haven.

Hôtel accueillant, bien situé
La propriétaire est accueillante à l'écoute. Chambre propre pratique. À m'arriver il y a un descriptif avec les activités, les restaurants.... trés utile. Hôtel bien situé Je le recommande. Dans l'hôtelil y a un coin table chaise barbecue trés agréable surtout pour l'été.

Gutes Apartment für Selbstverpfleger
Ich (22) war mit einer Freundin (24) im Dezember in Porto Island. Es war ein sehr guter Aufenthalt. Obwohl der Check-in erst ab 15 Uhr möglich ist, konnten wir schon um 10 Uhr unser Gepäck im Nebenraum stehen lassen. Die Kontaktaufnahme erfolgte über What's app, sehr unkompliziert. Das Zimmer war gut eingerichtet mit einer Küchenzeile, Kühlschrank, etc. Das Bad ist sehr klein und kompakt, aber für wenige Tage völlig ausreichend. Der einzige Nachteil war, dass das Apartment nicht für den Winter ausgerichtet ist. Es ist keine Heizung vorhanden. Aber uns wurden ausreichend Decken zur Verfügung gestellt und ein Heizlüfter. LAGE: Das Apartment befindet sich in einer Nebenstraße und etwas außerhalb der Stadt. Es ist ungefähr 1,5 km vom Musik-Haus entfernt. Das Musik-Haus erreicht man sehr gut mit der Metro und kostet nicht viel. ungefähr 500 Meter vom Apartment entfernt sind 2 Bushaltestellen, mit der man für 1,90€ in das Zentrum von Porto gelangt. Zusätzlich ist ungefähr 300 Meter vom Apartment eine Bushalte stelle für 3 verschiedene "Hop-on-Hop-off" Busse. Für das kleine Geld und im Sommer ist dies auf jeden Fall eine alternative zum typischen Hotel.
