'This is a fantastic place to stay if you want to see the real Dominica. Lovely, rustic rooms where you can really connect with nature as you feel like you are in the treetops. The staff were really friendly and I'd highly recommended having the family style dinner they provide as it's delicious and you get to speak with others staying there. Worth hiring a car as this is out of the way but plently of space to park on the road. '

'Good and pleasant small hotel. Very friendly staff, good breakfast, nice swimming pool, reasonably good restaurant, great sunset view from the little terrace in front of my room. My WiFi worked perfectly, as did the AC and fridge. Did not try the tv. Shower and towels may need an upgrade in some years. '

Christine is a kind and attentive host that was very flexible and accommodating with check in times. Lee’s restaurant and bar, Love @ First Bite is incredible and he is a great guy. 'Eigenaresse Joan is ontzettend zorgzaam en kookt erg lekker. Door de storm Maria is er veel stuk gegaan en nog lang niet alles is gerepareerd. De zorg en liefde die Joan geeft maakt het toch een bezoek waard.'

'The hotel rooms were advertised has having an ocean view but you could not see the ocean from our room. The room was clean, although small. The host was courteous and helpful He arranged for us to eat a lovely dinner at a local restaurant and arranged for the owner to pick us up so we did not have to drive. We think he forgot to turn on the hot water so, although there was a great shower, the water was not hot. The worst part of the stay however, was that reggae music played at a location close...

'There was no stay when I called from Puerto Rico I was informed that no rooms were available and my an email had been sent to me informing me of the same.l have received no such email as for the payment Hotels.com would refund the money can you image my plight that after flying for 50 hours and arriving at 11 pm in Dominica the booking money is taken and no accomodation provided I think Hotel.com need to review all its listings and the commitment that they are providing'

'This property is a tranquil retreat in the middle of a forest and adjacent next to a beautiful river that we all loved swimming in! The owners had many great suggestions of things to see and fo nearby, great places to eat, and places to go for this being our second trip to Portsmouth so we had too much to do and lived it all! Our only regret was that we didn’t have more nights here!'
