'One night stay to visit local family. Very welcoming, met on arrival. Coldest night of the year so far and it was warm, cosy & comfortable. Owners live next door, attached house, easy parking, easy to find. Will possibly be return during 2026, central location for all our needs.'

'Very warm and friendly welcome by all staff with great service and excellent choice of drinks especially there own Plumb Gin. Yummy. Very relaxed about our slightly late arrival. We loved the Innovative and quirky decor throughout. Bed was so comfy and the complimentary port for a night cap,loved it. So nice that there was no TV. In the bedroom too. Complimentary breakfast delicious and plenty food, hot and cold drinks to start your day. Definitely would really recommend staying here....

'Great treehouse with buggy. Up early to go around the park with the buggy. Loved the clubhouse bar, toasting marshmallows over the fire. We would return, loved the animals, grounds & restaurants too! '

'We stayed in the Saltwood suite. At entry it was a slight shock, as a few big stains in the carpet welcomed us. But after that, all off the room was perfect. Bed, bathroom shower. All very good. Had diner at the restaurant. Sadly there is no outside sea view, but the food was perfect. Had a great stay, and would reccommend.'

'Bad wifi and limited facilities. No fridge in the room, gym or anything really other than a square room with dodgy aircon. I would give it a 3 star but the staff were so friendly and helpful that it deserves a 5.'

'Echt een hele unieke, ‘quirky’, kamer (noddy). Leuk voor een verblijf van een nachtje. De locatie is erg prettig. Goed te bereiken, rustig en uniek zo tegenover een kerk, begraafplaats en wat oorlogs/history bezienseaardigheden in de buurt. Uitvalsbasis voor bezoeken van Ashford, Rye, folkstone, dover is echt top. Eten in de pub is goed. Heb beter gegeten voor een goedkopere prijs in andere pubs maar het is goed te doen. Personeel/eigenaren zijn attent. Fijn prive parkeren, wat met een NL...

'Heel mooi hotel. Ook de naastgelegen cottages zijn heel luxe. Goede prijs/kwaliteitverhouding. Check de pub The Three Chimneys, op 15 min rijden. Een geweldige pub met goed eten en local ales.'

'Room had a wet mouldy smell, didnt get any better with airing out. The hotel is located in a industrial area Bathroom was worn but not the worst. The food at the connected resturant was bland but they had great understanding of gluten free. Overall was okay but wouldnt stay here again, especially at the price point.'
