'Nette B&B gelegen in een gerenoveerde vrijstaande stadsvilla, omgeven door palmbomen. Het was de vijfde accommodatie en laatste halte op onze ontdekkingsreis van de Azoren. De sfeer vonden we hier iets zakelijker dan bij de andere accommodaties die we op dat moment bezocht hadden, het personeel afstandelijker (maar wel vriendelijk en correct). De kamers zijn mooi ingericht en proper, al is een investering in nieuwe tapijten en handig te gebruiken toiletborstels misschien wel op zijn plaats....

'Nice and tranquil place to stay in the middle of furnas. Comfortable beds. Jacuzzi/sauna/pool were a nice addition. We had a little trouble getting there, because the road was blocked, but after calling the host, we heard that we can ask the roadworkers to let us pass, and they did, so that was resolved quickly.'

'We stayed at Moinho da Areia for three days and really enjoyed it. The location is right by the beach, so you fall asleep to the sound of the waves.
