'Bella and Dave are fantastic hosts. The room was spacious and comfortable. The daily breakfast was very good and a highlight of our trip. The location is perfect. We were able to easily walk to the marina and restaurants. We can’t speak highly enough about how great of hosts and people Bella and Dave are.'

'So happy that I booked this place. It was a bit pricey compared to hotels near the marina area and main shopping/restaurant area but so worth it. The interior is beautiful and so secluded that it gave resort vibes. I had the twin room and it was like a little apartment with a huge bed, windows, clean bathroom and alot of walkable space. The amenities were lovely such as the pool and areas to sit and relax. Dinner at Musa was a great introduction to Azorean cuisine. Breakfast had a wide selection...

'Vanessa and Charlie are amazing, Vanessa is genuinely interested in you and making your stay in Ponta Delgada the best possible. The accommodation is within walking distance from the city centre Next time I'm staying in Ponta Delgada this will be my first choice of accommodation'

'The place was nice and big enough for the 2 of us. The bed/mattress was bad/warn mattress. There were a lot, and I mean a lot, of bugs in the bathroom, especially in the evening they came out. Hopefully the accommodation is able to do something about that. '

'Nice and tranquil place to stay in the middle of furnas. Comfortable beds. Jacuzzi/sauna/pool were a nice addition. We had a little trouble getting there, because the road was blocked, but after calling the host, we heard that we can ask the roadworkers to let us pass, and they did, so that was resolved quickly.'

'Our room was wonderful, the shared space was absolutely beautiful and the view breathtaking. The place is about a 15 minute walk from the downtown area. There are cafes, restaurants and grocery nearby. I would definitely go back.'

'We stayed at Moinho da Areia for three days and really enjoyed it. The location is right by the beach, so you fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The bed was very comfortable, the room felt warm and inviting, and Cristina took great care of everything. It’s also a good base for exploring the island. We hope to return in the future.'

'Wunderschöner Garten mit Blick auf die Landebahn (Flughafen stört nicht, es landen nur wenige Flieger), super Frühstück mit selbst gemachtem Joghurt, Eier von eigenen Hühnern und sehr nettem Personal. Man könnte zu Fuß von Flughafen zu Unterkunft laufen, also sehr praktisch gelegen. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen. '
