B&B in Azoren

'The place was nice and big enough for the 2 of us. The bed/mattress was bad/warn mattress. There were a lot, and I mean a lot, of bugs in the bathroom, especially in the evening they came out. Hopefully the accommodation is able to do something about that. '

'Nette B&B gelegen in een gerenoveerde vrijstaande stadsvilla, omgeven door palmbomen. Het was de vijfde accommodatie en laatste halte op onze ontdekkingsreis van de Azoren. De sfeer vonden we hier iets zakelijker dan bij de andere accommodaties die we op dat moment bezocht hadden, het personeel afstandelijker (maar wel vriendelijk en correct). De kamers zijn mooi ingericht en proper, al is een investering in nieuwe tapijten en handig te gebruiken toiletborstels misschien wel op zijn plaats....

'What a wonderful place to stay, it felt like home. Pedro and Maria were wonderful hosts, eager to help us explore their beautiful island. Every morning as we enjoyed their island breakfast, Pedro would ask our plans for the day and then proceeded to reach into his handy folder and find a map for the region with sites to see and restaurant recommendations. 'We enjoyed our stay in Charming House - Case do Pateo immensly. It is a beautiful, charming hotel, with a wonderfully kind staff. The breakfast is exceptional. Not too big, but varied en with local products. I absolute recommend this hotel. '
