'Self-catering and in a good location : Well-located and comfortable The bed wasn’t comfortable, the shower was very small and the bathroom smelled of drains In the silence of the night, you could hear the noise of planes taking off and landing at the airport very clearly'

'A lovely, quiet, comfortable house : The accommodation was brilliant It smelled a bit musty, which is probably down to the climate. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find any tea towels, and we would have liked to write in the guest book but didn’t have a pen to hand. Otherwise, an excellent little spot.'

'Host is amazing and very welcoming. Pet was welcomed and prepared for with a bed and some toys. Very thoughtful. Space is comfortable and location is excellent. parking was very easy.'

'Beautiful house, plenty of room. Wish we'd had time to spend there longer than one night. Having to pay the tax at the hotel before getting the code for the house was annoying (didn't have to do that at previous São Miguel accommodations). Code didn't work but when I called, it was quickly fixed. Parking spaces were occupied so we had to park on the very narrow street. Overall, lovely, clean, huge home. Would stay again.'

'Comfortable and cozy stay : It was very clean and cozy and has all necessary amenities. Also it is not far from the city center and airport, which makes it convenience. I couldn’t find anything'

'The house was well situated and has lots of potential. Our host Claudio was polite, quick to respond, and very helpful. The rooms are a good size, and the house has a good layout. Unfortunately, the beds and pillows were very hard and quite uncomfortable. The outdoor furniture is in need of replacing, the BBQ is rusty and new interior paint would be a good improvement as there is water damage in places and signs of mold in the bathroom and elsewhere. The pictures in the listing are outdated as...

'Property was neat and tidy. There was air conditioning that worked in every room. Lots of available parking very bright and white interior, working TV with plenty of channels in English as well as other languages. Nice outdoor area as a terrace upstairs. Brand new frying pans well equipped kitchen beds were comfortable, quiet, neighborhood, safe neighborhood. We went for early morning walks for a mile and evening walks for 2 miles. Three minute walk to nearby cafe, 7 minute walk to a grocery...

'A perfect stay in Mosteiros. The house is very spacious and equipped with everything you need: a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and a fully fitted kitchen. There is also a terrace and a very large garden. It is located in Moscoitos, just a few metres from the natural pools and practically right by the sea (you just have to cross the road). It has private parking. Perfect for total relaxation and the peace of a small village far from the noise of the bigger ‘cities’. Make sure you plan...

'Really good! We’d definitely go again : Everything was great The power went out twice and it took them a while to sort it out, so we were a bit worried'

'Everything was exactly as described. The house is in a quiet area, yet within easy reach of everything on the island. We didn’t encounter any problems. The accommodation was cosy and we can highly recommend it.'

'Place appears newly renovated, with fairly good quality materials and large rooms. Location is close to the town core - about a 10-15 minute walk. Immediate area is of older less well kept buildings and perhaps these will also participate in restoration over time - we did not feel uncomfortable walking the area, but did experience street noise, particularly the front bedroom and living room. Parking lot about 50m away for 1 Euro per 24 hours that was convenient vs street parking.

'We loved the house and the location. The host was great to work with. The listing regarding the parking is misleading. There are no dedicated parking spots, only a tiny public parking lot. There is very limited on street parking but it is precarious at best.'

'The view was beautiful and we enjoyed walking to 4 Platanos restaurant for dinner. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was clean. The patio was perfect for eating breakfast and stargazing in comfortable seats. There was plenty of street parking in front of the building. We would definitely stay there again. '

'Very happy with my stay I have 2 boys anywhere else we stayed I had to stay on top of them 24/7 making sure everything stays how we found it but at this property there was a pool table a big flat screen they was able to watch movies the place itself is very spacious where I was comfortable they wasn’t going to break anything :) the outside enough room for them to get all their energy out with a great privacy wall from the street was a little far from the airport but well worth the drive if...

'Yes. Everything was clearly explained. '
