'Clean room, friendly staff and excellent customer service.'

'The hot tub was out of service and the pool was not heated. A bit reason for selecting this hotel was for the use of the pool & spa, so this was disappointing. The AC in the bedroom did not work very well and the common areas in the hotel felt like there was no AC as it was very hot and stuffy.'

'Chose the Hampton Inn Poway as an extra night on my birthday trip knowing that this isn't a fancy resort by any means but Hampton Inn always comes with great stays and calm environments. The stay started out ok with the gentleman at the front being very helpful and even offering an "upgrade". We got to the room to notice a musty smell from the AC being off. 'We appreciated the welcoming staff - often similar sized hotels only have 1 person at check-in but Ayres had 2 and they were efficient. They offered cookies in the evening and a very nice breakfast in the morning. We also took advantage of the weight room and jacuzzi. Finally, despite being close to the freeway, it was very quiet.'
