'Our stay was a weekend getaway for our 6th anniversary. The cabin was so cozy! It had everything we needed! We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. We cooked in the indoor and outdoor kitchen. We used the grill AND pizza oven! The are several ponds on the property full of frogs and fish. There was food available to feed to fish. There were so many Harry Potter touches in the cabinet. The keys in the ceiling were perfect! The large quilt was super comfy. 10/10 recommend!'

'There were 8 of us. The house is very spacious and comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked with pans and dishes. With 4 bedrooms and 4 baths we were able to spread out and have our own space. Mariella, the owner, was extremely helpful every time we had questions. She even took the time to put fresh cut flowers on the table and entryway! Such a thoughtful touch! The lake was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and listening to the waterfall. We walked around the lake...

'The entire Bear house property is incredibly charming and inviting. The Stinson Suite was as well. The space is incredibly charming and cozy perfect for 1-2 couples or a small family. St Elmo is a lovely town and is perfectly walkable from the property. Beautiful area and so many great options for food, shopping, and experiences nearby.'

'This was the perfect solution for us. Our son graduated from UTC Saturday morning and then we helped him move out of his apartment that was located literally across the street. Ample space and amenities for the short time we actually spent in the room. The basement room was a bit chilly, but we prefer that when we sleep so it wasn’t a huge deal for us. A previous review complained about the water not getting hot, but we found that it just took a while to heat up. Both the shower and sink knobs...
