I booked this place because it had a washer/dryer… something we needed after three weeks on the road. There’s no reception at the site so we had to rush from the train station to meet the nice woman who persistently messaged us and waited for us. Not a terrible start but could have been smoother.
I should have looked more closely at the listing because it was a surprise to see that the beds were in lofts above the kitchen. One required going up a ladder; the other required going up steps embedded in the wall with no banister. I would have loved this as a college student but now I’m two years younger than Trump and my sense of balance isn’t what it used to be. We ended up sleeping on the modular sofa in the den which wasn’t comfortable at all.
The TV was advertised as 50 inches but I’m guessing it was 40. No matter, we never got it show any channels. The WiFi didn’t work until I powered the router on and off a few times.
The location was great. Not far from the train station and the national museum. Very noisy though.
Again, I would have loved the place with a bunch of friends 50 years ago. Never again now.
