'We was a family of four staying at the hotel the staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us ,the room was spacious and very clean the bathroom was enormous we had a a full English breakfast which was cooked to perfection so would definitely recommend this hotel '

'Lovely overnight stay. Used as a base to explore the surrounding areas. Was a bit concerned when we read that a lot of staff had walked out upon sale of the property (some sort of protest I guess). However, the staff we encountered were delightful and extremely conscientious. Special thanks to Caitlin and Adele, I hope your new employer's appreciate you. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms maybe a little tired but were spotless and very comfortable. Thanks again, we will certainly return.'

'This small hotel is located next to the River Wyre and has some lovely rooms. I stayed 4 night with them at 75 pounds per night including breakfast. The room was very nice, with lovely large bed, view of the river and great shower. The room was recently re-done and has great wallpaper. The food is very good, the breakfast has some excellent old time favourites on the menu, like soft boiled eggs with soldiers, and porridge. But it is all home cooked and tastes very fresh and lovely.
