Beautiful Home
This home was amazing, we really enjoyed our stay. The house was spotless, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need/want. The beds were comfortable. Both the hot tub and outdoor fire table were lovely. The house is a great location, very close to the main strip in Picton. Overall, I have nothing negative to say, we were very happy with our visit and would 100% recommendation!

Practically Perfect
The property was lovely, spotless, well outfitted. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. The hosts were amazingly welcoming and responsive. We suggest they improve the signage that marks the location as it was very difficult to see. Perhaps some shelves inside the closet of the second bedroom for folded clothes. We would definitely recommend this property to others. Great getaway!

What a house!

Incredible stay
It is such a beautiful, charming home. A nice greeting card and a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival immediately made us feel welcome. This home is equipped with all necessities and more. Owners were quick to respond to texts. Close walking distance to everything. We had such an incredible stay and wished it was longer. Thank you Cori & Rusty. We hope to stay again soon.

Feeling home right from the start
Our family of five stayed in the Carriage house for a week. Everyone was pleased with the space and we felt home right away! It was very nice to be in the area of Picton and it gave us the opportunity to travel easily to the beaches and other towns around. We’re heading back to Québec city with great memories of our stay and we’ll definitely be back in the area… Probably again to the carriage house.

Charming, cozy, comfortable, exceptionally clean, open concept on main floor felt very spacious for a group. Wonderful blend of modern amenities in kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms while keeping design features of the historic carriage house. Lovely private backyard and patio. Why would you stay anywhere else!!
Our group of five women loved this accommodation. This was my fourth time staying with Cory and Rusty. The house is always spotless. Who doesn't like a hot tub on the deck and always a bottle of wine chilling in the refrigerator for our arrival. Why would you stay anywhere else?

Beautiful home
We booked this home for a girls golf getaway. The home was very clean. Very convenient location to restaurants, shopping and LCBO. The hot tub was very relaxing after playing golf. As an added bonus, the host also left a bottle of red wine from a local winery which we enjoyed very much. We are already thinking we should book it again for next June.

This property is exactly as described. It was clean and inviting. The beds were comfortable. And the hospitality was beyond expectations - they had a chilled bottle of local wine for us upon arrival. I will be highly recommending this property to all. Some suggestions: The internet was spotty and there is no cable TV. This was a bit of a problem, especially with being there on a weekend during NFL playoffs. Since there is only one TV in the entire house, watching TV was a tad challenging unless all wanted to watch the same thing or else use a personal device.

Fantastic Place in the County!
This was truly an amazing experience. We’ve been to a lot of vacation rentals and this one was by far our favourite. It was very clean, and well stocked with all the things we needed! Our one suggestion is that it would have been handy to have a recycling bin inside the property. But overall, a great time! Thanks for having us! :)

Perfect!
This property had everything that we needed for our group of six adults. The location was perfect for exploring the shops and restaurants in Picton and was a great starting point for a day of visiting wineries and points of interest. We enjoyed walking to the Argarian Market for our morning coffee. We loved being able to warm up in the hot tub at the end of our day of exploring. The beds were comfortable and everything was spotless.

This place was exactly what we were looking for! Beautiful and clean. Spacious, but cozy. Walking distance to groceries, LCBO, and all the cute Main Street shops and great restaurants. Nights capped off in the backyard, sitting in the hot tub or around the fire table. Absolutely recommend to any group going to Picton.

Wonderful Stay
We loved this property - it was clean with a modern cottage feel. It’s very nicely upgraded with a quiet backyard and neighbourhood yet super close to amenities. On sunny days we were at the beach which is less than 15 min drive and on rainy days we enjoyed lounging at the property. Would definitely go back!

Très bon emplacement. (Resto,épicerie sentier vélo) la ville de picton est très agréable. Les enfants on beaucoup aimé les parcs et les jeux d’eau. Se rendre à la plage c’est vraiment pas loin. La maison est agréable, spacieuse et très propre. Très bien équipé!

We were a group of 6 (four adults, 2 kids) and the Lake Street Carriage House was an ideal home base for our week in the county. A beautiful home and perfect location to take advantage of the cycling and mountain biking trails, plus all that Picton offers. Hosts were responsive. We would definitely return!

Fantastic stay!
We stayed Monday-Friday with four adults and two children under two. The space is better than advertised - it is very beautiful and clean. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub and the BBQ (propane provided). I was impressed that they had a booster chair for infants and a pack-and-play available. Laundry was also helpful with young children. The place is walkable to the Millenium Trail, a park for children and to the main strip for groceries etc. It is also nicely situated for getting to and from wineries in the region. Communication with the owners was a breeze and they accommodated a special request for us. We will definitely be back!

We were 5 seniors who stayed at the Carriage House for 3 nights. This accommodation is exceptional. The building has been beautifully restored. It is well stocked with every thing you need and very clean and comfortable. The back yard is private and well furnished. This was the second time staying at this property. Spotlessly clean upon arrival. Beautiful setting in Picton. Best part they knew we were baseball fans and had the Blue Jays Channel set on the tv when we arrived. What can be better than that?

Excellent house to rent. Very well equipped … kitchen amenities excellent, plenty of towels in all bathrooms and we loved the hot tub. Beautiful and welcoming home!
My husband and I stayed here for our "mini-moon" after getting married and had a great time! The house is stunning. It has a beautiful kitchen and bathroom, and includes a fireplace and hot tub - both of which we used often during our stay. The owners communicated well and were available for any questions. The house is located near the downtown, walking distance away from restaurants and shops.

5 wonderful days in PEC
Cori and Rusty are exceptional hosts - flexible, accommodating and responsible The Carriage House is beautifully decorated and has all the essential supplies, making it truly feel like a “home away from home” Location to Main Street is a short, pleasant walk to lovely shops and restaurants. Driving throughout PEC is also convenient and nearby. Our party of 4 recently retired adults enjoyed the hospitality of this lovely VRBO accommodation and would highly recommend it to others 👍😊

Lovely Lake St Carriage House Stay
Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Lake Street Carriage House. The house is clean, very well appointed and the main floor is a great open, yet cozy, space. The house is centrally located to most anywhere in The County from the sandy beaches to the fantastic wineries and great restaurants. I would highly recommend the Lake Street Carriage House and look forward to one day returning with my family.
