Onlangs gerenoveerd kamp op West Grand Lake in Grand Lake Stream Maine

Onlangs gerenoveerd kamp met prachtig uitzicht op de oever van het West Grand Lake. West Grand Lake is een bestemming voor primervissen die bekend staat om zijn vliegvissen in Grand Lake Stream, op 6,5 km van het kamp naar het dorp. Het meer staat bekend om zalm, tougue, witte vis en kleine mondbaarzen, het water is kristalhelder en geweldig om te zwemmen en varen.

Terwijl het kamp onlangs is gerenoveerd, heeft het dat oude kampgevoel met knoestige dennen, een slaapzolder, een mix van antieke en nieuwe armaturen die het kamp zijn charme geven. Het kamp heeft een prachtig panoramisch uitzicht op het meer.

Het kamp ligt vlak bij Bonney Brook Road op Shady Lane. De weg is bereikbaar met de auto en gemakkelijk te bereiken. Het gebied biedt geweldige vissen, jagen, vierwielrennen en lef met mijlen en mijlen van paden om toegang te krijgen vanuit het kamp. Grote wandelpaden zijn ook in de omgeving.

Het kamp heeft een aanlegsteiger voor gemakkelijke toegang tot het meer per boot, gasgrill, picknicktafel en vuurplaats voor buiten genieten. Prijzen zijn $ 55 per persoon, per nacht met een minimum van twee nachten. Familie tarieven zijn beschikbaar voor juli en augustus op $ 1200 per week.

Grand Lake Stream is een rustig dorp met een beekje dat erdoorheen stroomt. De stad biedt ook een familie gerunde winkel met visbenodigdheden, boodschappen, een eetbalie waar verse broodjes, pizza en ijs worden geserveerd als je een zoete traktatie wilt. Stap terug in de tijd en geniet van Grand Lake Stream te bieden heeft. Alles voor de natuurliefhebber of voor iemand die er even tussenuit wil en even de stekker uit het stopcontact wilt halen in een prachtige omgeving.

I love this place, have returned several times. Beautiful area, cabin right on a huge lake, very quiet! Basic kitchen with full size fridge, range and oven has everything I need to bake a lasagna, make pancakes, or nuke something simple. Lots of hikes nearby or daytrips to the ocean. Bring a kayak if you can- some days the lake is totally mirror-calm, other days active with wind and chop, but either way, the lake will be calling to you! The host, Carol, is quick to respond to questions and easy to work with.

Beautiful setting. Nice inside.A little hard to find based on the directions that mention a "road" name which wasn't applicable to the actual location. Directions could be a little more concise there are some details in them that led to confusion on our part. But everything was great once we found the place. I would definitely stay there again. Vey nice dock and the beauty of the lake is stunning.

We had a wonderful stay for our first time on West Grand Lake! The cabin had everything we needed and was perfect for a relaxing getaway. We brought our two dogs, and they absolutely loved running down to the dock each morning to swim and look for fish. The views were stunning from sunrise to sunset — truly unforgettable. It’s an ideal spot for fishing, swimming, hiking, or just unwinding by the water. Thank you for a fantastic stay! We’re looking forward to booking again

Fantastic Camp!

Absolutely beautiful camp, has everything you need kitchen wise. Remote location. You are inbetween 2 camps, but you dont feel stacked on top of each other. Perfect view of the sunset. Gigantic lake with waves, had much fun floating in the tubes riding the waves. Beware! The weather on the lake can change very quickly! We found great cell reception when we went out on the lake in the boat! Crystal clear water and friendly neighbors that rescue you when the current carries you away. Shout out to Mark down the road for saving us haha. We had quite the adventure and best weekend. We would love to return in the future to this beautiful place. Also my dog did not get a single tick! Very nice outdoor space to hang out in.

Authentic Maine Camp in Grand Lake Stream

If you are looking for what would be considered a true camp, look no further. This camp reminded me of the camps our family would rent 60 years ago for summer vacations, but with modern amenities! The location is perfect and the view is to die for. Didn’t get to experience the beautiful sunsets due to 2 days of rain but would go again in a heartbeat. Your host has thought of everything!

We had a great time at Breezy Shores this past weekend. We used it as our home base while we fished GLS. The kitchen was well appointed for a camp and there is plenty of room for people to sleep. Overall the camp is clean and recently remodeled, with hot water, shower and comfortable beds. Great distance to GLS. Thanks so much!

West Grand Lake Memories

We were looking for an out of the way place with great views and comfortable surroundings and Breezy Shores did not disappoint. What we needed

If you’re looking for a place with service and a place to be on your phone, this is not it. But if you’re looking for a place to recharge and appreciate your surroundings, this cabin is a dream. I was nervous to go in the winter because I wasn’t sure we’d be able to do much, but then I realized when we got there that we didn’t need to do much. The property manager was kind, and the binder she has on the dining table with things to do really was a life saver out there with no service to look up things to do or where to eat. I also really loved the journal that visitors can write in to describe their visit. The tv with the DVD player being the only way to watch tv made my fiancé and I feel a little nostalgic, and we loved that. All in all, I really loved the cabin, and I will be back in a different season!
