'Mr. Hunter's cottage is a lovely cottage from a by-gone era. Located in the mountains of Giles county, VA, this cottage is comfortable with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The cottage is furnished with pieces that could have been there when it was built. The cottage has a beautiful porch, a great place for morning coffee. There is a very nice restaurant just steps from the cottage. I advise having at least one meal there, make sure you have reservations, as it can get quite busy. The restaurant was...

'The property is very comfortable, clean, and cozy! We very much enjoyed our stay while we ventured about the many places to see in the area. Wish it would have been a little warmer outside, so we could have enjoyed the screened in porch. The property has everything you need and then some. Owners are very nice and accommodating! We would definitely stay here again!'

'The house is very nice and was perfect for our family stay. We stayed in the house for our trip to ride SXS’s on the Hatfield McCoy trails. The house had plenty of rooms and bathrooms for our family. The kitchen and living room were great areas too. The house was very clean. The pressure washer and outside seating areas are nice features of the house. The only downside to our stay was the train tracks, we got used to the trains after the first day.'

'Our stay was short and quick. It was in a nice little town where everyone is super friendly. The house is exactly what they say it is. They are in the middle of renovating the old home, so it is what it is. The only thing that I would mention is that the house is actually on'

'So close to the mountain, which is exactly what we needed for our family snowboard trip. The pictures don’t do the place justice. It was spacious and comfortable. Only downside, closest grocery stores are 20ish minutes away so we survived on Dollar General and it worked out perfectly! Highly recommend you stay and experience all that Winterplace has to offer.'
