Although the further down the hill the cottages are the better the view Cottage 3 is advertised as ocean view and it is not. 'If you’re looking for a place to stay that’s close to concert venues, amusements parks, and restaurants outside the city then Avonlea Cottages is the go. If you’re ever short and in need of supplies, there’s a grocery store just across the street. As for the cottage itself, it’s pretty good for the price you pay, you basically get everything you need for a short or long stay. Only thing I would like to mention is that there’s no strong kitchen ventilation so if you plan on cooking inside, beware...

'My y family stayed here for almost a week. 4 adults and a 2 year young grandson. It is mind boggling that they(owner and trusted contractor/property manager)were able to transform a former woodshed and utility shed into a fully functional tiny home. 'It’s a beautiful place, it needs to be more valued in the add!! It’s a good price for what you get, it’s right next to everything, beautiful long balcony, big bathroom, couch and bed, kitchen with two fridges… it’s really beautiful. The pickup for the keys could be thought through again I think… it’s good that the host is there to show us how the keys work, but the communication via text and wait time could throw off others possibly. What a great experience!!'

'My family really enjoyed this cottage! Its very roomy, and close to everything. The cottage was very clean, modern, and felt like we were right at home! * Our only negative would be that the wifi was extremely slow so it was hard to connect the TV streaming services and use our phones. We will definitely be back! Our favorite spot we've stayed in cavendish yet!'
