'I've been meaning to stay in this property for the last few years, but never managed to get there. The house exceeded our expectations. Although it was quite warm for October we didn't manage to use the pool. However, it was just nice to sit outside and eat or have a glass of wine and watch the sun set towards Castelo de Vide. We are already looking to go back sometime next summer.'

'A beautiful and peaceful spot to spend some time. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay exploring the property and cooling down in the pool with the amazing view. A great base to check out Estremoz, Monsaraz and pottery in Corval as well. Paul is a lovely and helpful host with great local recommendations. Don’t forget to stargaze. The night sky there is spectacular! We can’t wait to go back. '

'Really nice isolated, peaceful and quiet retreat. Premises is solar powered, with battery powered generator if batteries run out. Water isn't drinkable, so you need plenty of bottled water if you have a large family staying. Really enjoyed our stay here and the hosts were very helpful and resolved any problems we had. All things considered it was a fantastic property with lots of room and really puts you in touch with nature. The only things that were a drawback for me was the lack of a...
