Serene 80-acre get-away, gelegen in de zuidelijke Rocky Mountains, met een spectaculair uitzicht op de Sangre de Cristo-bergen vanaf het dek, woonkamer en zolder. Ontspan in het bubbelbad voor 7 personen terwijl u 's nachts geniet van het uitzicht op de bergen of de sterren. Vuurplaats met Adirondack-stoelen. Slaapkamers: geschikt voor acht personen. Chalet Room: begane grond. Ongelooflijk comfortabel queensize bed, eiken balken over het plafond doen denken aan een Alpenchalet. Dressoir, nachtkastje, kast. Badkamer in hal.

Master Bedroom: ongelooflijk comfortabel poster queensize bed, dressoir, 2 nachtkastjes, eigen badkamer: toilet, douche, inloopkast, gashaard. Glazen schuifdeur opent naar dek.

Loft: 2 eenpersoonsbedden en uitklapbare futon voor 4 personen. Loft omvat ook leeshoek met stoel en half en poef en een kantoor. Uitzicht op de bergen vanaf loft.

Keuken: Mooie, volledig ingerichte keuken met granieten aanrecht en kookeiland. Toepassingen: koelkast, gasfornuis, magnetron, broodrooster, mixer, koffiezetapparaat, servies, bestek, glazen - net als thuis.

Exterieur: groot terras met tuinmeubilair. 7-persoons bubbelbad met uitzicht op bergen. Home heeft WiFi, Dish Network TV, telefoon met U. S. lange afstand.

Canon City area-activiteiten: 5 golfbanen, paardrijden, Royal Gorge Park, Royal Gorge Scenic treinrit, zip-lijnen, raften, Gold Medal vliegvissen, Abbey Winery Tour, wolvenreservaat, Dinosaur Depot, winkels, restaurants, mountainbikeroutes

Verzorgers / eigenaren wonen in aparte staking op lager niveau, dus we zijn beschikbaar om u te helpen, maar bieden u volledige privacy.

The property was beautiful from the start. The drive up the 9,000ft square mountain has an amazing view of varieties pines trees, beautiful landscaping and all the cabin away from each other in a distance. If your looking for a very quiet peaceful place to get away, I would highly recommend it.! The view as the sunrise to dawn is amazing. Have to see it to believe it.

Review: BE AWARE. This house is located on 13.5 miles of gravel off the main road and is a good 45 minute drive to anything. The view is beautiful however you are not renting the entire house to yourself. Owners live in the basement. The fire pit is right by the entrance to their part of the house, the hot tub and their porch/ dining space is only separated by a curtain. We did not care as we were not needing the privacy however some might. There were several inoperable windows and also missing spindles. Owners also falsely accused us of damage and tried to conveniently collect almost the full deposit.

Beautiful Location! Nice house

This house is in an awesome location with incredible views of mountains, very isolated, so quiet and peaceful! The house itself was great, the pictured hot tub is not functional. However, there is a separate enclosed hot tub that is available to use. We were surprised that the owners Were staying in the downstairs area, somehow we thought they would be in a totally different location and not in the same house. The only complaint is the trash incinerator being used while we were there one of the days producing an awful smell that came directly into the house as there is no heating or air conditioning- so windows remain open most of the time which, for the most part is a good thing. The owners are super friendly and nice, but very slow to response to texts, usually the next day. I did have all the comforts of home, including spices toiletries, cooking items that we usually have to bring with us at VRBO’s. That was much appreciated!

Indescribable by words...

When I rounded the corner into the driveway of Michael and Joyce's I was overwhelmed with emotion. There are no words to describe the awe inspiring views or the complete peace I had during my week long stay. During one of my walks on the mesa I came across a Lord of the Rings inspired project they have been working hard to complete for people to come and stay...it is incredible!! I can't wait to see the finished project. I truly believe it will be a destination for everyone to visit. Michael and Joyce were a joy to be around and left nothing to be desired. I may be home now but I know where I left my heart.

Magical stay

We had an absolutely magical stay for a quiet weekend getaway. The house is remote, the views are breathtaking, the saltwater hottub is hot, and we decided to give cooking a break and the owner, Joyce, made delicious meals for us (Greek lunch - best chicken soup ever; pot roast for dinner; and the absolute best coffee cake we have EVER tasted). We even got to help feed the chickens, and took some eggs home with us, which our kids loved. We’ll definitely be back. Such exceptional hosts and an exceptional property.

Breathtaking views, incredibly quiet mountain retreat

If you are looking for a quiet mountain getaway with stunning views this place is a dream! It's on top of a mountain with miles of unobstructed views. Quietest place I've ever been. Zero noise from roads/neighbors. No light pollution, can see the milky way! Joyce and Michael are super helpful and sweet while giving guest plenty of space and privacy. Tons of space inside, clean and well appointed, feels homey. Keep in mind, it's a long way from the nearest store, but we saw this as a bonus and planned accordingly. Also, Joyce helped arrange for her neighbor to deliver an incredible meal the first night. A wonderful experience, I highly recommend!

Incredible location

My wife and I were so impressed with the views and location of this property. The drive in alone from the main highway is incredibly scenic and significantly compliments the overall experience of staying in this home. We enjoyed the location and community so much that we are seeking land in the area ourselves. I overlooked the portion of the description where the hosts live on site. However, that is my fault and not the host, and we were not bothered or inconvenienced by them at any time during our stay. Very comfortable bed, high speed Wi-Fi, and serene views at all hours of the day (even at night). We hope to be back soon!

Prepare to be amazed at the breathtaking views!

If you are looking for a stunningly beautiful, remote mountain getaway, this is the place! The home is gorgeous, has everything you need, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. The hiking trails on the property are well-developed and maintained. Don't forget to download or print up all of the directions, including the gate code, before you head to the property because you will not have signal, as Joyce says in her detailed instructions. Also, unless you like to sleep on really thin pillows, bring your own to have a comfortable sleep. New pillows would be our only suggestion for improvement! We can't wait to come back someday!

Breathtaking

We did a weekend trip to visit the Royal Gorge and do some white water rafting. We were looking for a nice place to relax and enjoy the mountains. Well, we found it. This place was just perfect. Off the beaten path, up on the mountain, with sweeping views of mountains and valleys. The house was well appointed, clean and well stocked. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.it is about an hour from the nearest town and about 40 minutes from the a Royal Gorge bridge and activities So it’s important to plan accordingly so you don’t have to run out for anything! We will absolutely go back again and try to spend more than two nights there. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Mountain Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this mountain top location. About 45 minutes from Canon City, it was secluded and scenic just like we wanted. Joyce & Michael are sweet & wonderfully informative about the land, wildlife, and Colorado in general. I would recommend it to anyone.
