'We arrived very late due to delays by WestJet and the Mexican airport and shuttle. However Jose ( the caretaker) was great to let us in even though it was after checkin time. So we were very appreciative of him. A family of 6 tired from a 10 hour travel day we’re thankful for Jose. The property is a bit noisy due to the proximity to entertainment district but otherwise it was fine for what we needed. Close to everything . Thank you Jose !'

'The view was better in person if that can be possible. The beach clean and quiet. The unit stocked with all the essentials. Pull out couch in livingroom very comfortable and the location is amazing! Easy 1 minute walk to restaurants, stores and shops. Linda definitely went above and beyond with our stay.'

'The owner will force you into paying more than your booking states, if you don’t accept you can leave (which was not an option for us end of day on a saturday). Aircon leaking ice and water onto the bed.'

'Our concierge was very helpful for our stay. Photos on platform are little deceiving, our unity was just ok with some kitchen appliances stuffed in the adjacent room. Not big deal since we were there only for sleeping. There are some details to improve like having toiletries (shampoo and soap) and getting ride of that weird smell.'

'This place was perfect for us. Perfect location- so close to the downtown area (easy walk) but far enough to be peaceful and without noise. My kids loved the pool, the older one loved swimming in the waves, and we all loved the porch hammocks. We rented a car and there was a designated parking spot. Place is very clean and great service. 'Location was great and close to everything we wanted within walking distance (ferry, restaurant, shopping, groceries). Unit was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for basic cooking. Could use some new pillows as the current ones are a bit past their prime. Pool was wonderful. Lots of space and looked out onto the ocean. Beach in this part of playa looks like it has been eroded quite a bit, so not much usable beach right in front of El Faro, but just a little ways down the beach...

'The location is great. We’ve stayed here on four occasions since 2007. The last time in 2016. The building is showing some signs of aging, but is overall in good condition. The unit needs a good makeover particularly the old worn out furniture that is very uncomfortable and dirty. Lighting in the kitchen is poor, and the Directv was constantly having connectivity issues. The hot tub(which we didn’t use)neede some cleaning to remove hard stains by the jets.'

'The suite was really nice, had everything we needed. Phenomenal location, quiet end of 5th. The only downside of this suite that couldn’t be controlled is there isn’t a lot of natural light. The pool was wonderful and warm and not busy at all.'

There is so many really great restaurants that are within walking distance which is great as Uber's are not allowed there and the price for the taxi's is a bit high. 'So overall value of this stay was very high. Two full 3rd floor balcony views of the Ocean would cost you $500 a night at any hotel. Its a condo , that apparently is currently for sale; so I'd guess owners are upside down and are looking to re-cover money anyway possible. Pros... -Location. -1/2 block from 5th -Views. 'Room was spacious with spectacular views of Half moon Bay. Snorkelling in Half Moon, just steps from the condo, was amazing. We saw large schools of fish, turtles, squid, rays and huge beautiful coral.'
