We stayed in the El Santo room. I believe this has to be the best room they have. The view was amazing and we were right next to the jacuzzi. We loved our stay! It was quiet, beautiful, good food and drinks, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend to others and I will be back.

- Best about this place is the super helpful and friendly staff - amazing views and almost every room gets partial or total sea view. - decent restaurant for a hotel with an astonishing view of the south side of the bay. - uphill from Conchas Chinas beach, the location is just a 6 mins uber ride to zona Romantica/ centro but retired enough in an area with private villas to escape from the buzz of the streets when sleep time comes. - enjoyed walking downhill to conchas chinas beach and from there walk along the beach and paths all the way to los muertos pier and have breakfast in zona romántica after. - the only potential improvement area in the facility would be to boost internet wifi signal with enough strength on every room. Half of the time I couldn’t watch anything on smart tv or connect to wifi on my cell from my room because signal was weak. - highly recommended.

Overall stay here was great. Area is peaceful and safe. Staff were very respectful and attentive. Our room was comfortable and had a beautiful view. The food(chilaquiles & eggs with carne adobada) was cold. The only huge red flag is that water was leaking from the roof next to the bed which was really concerning. It took 3 days for the issue to be fixed, we weren’t relocated to another room. There were 2 occasions where the hot water wouldn’t come out so I had to shower with cold water.

I really enjoyed my stay at Patio Azul. I think the staff are working hard to make it the best it can be. Some of the hotel is under construction, or in slight disrepair. There are cosmetic flaws that may conflict with your concept of "luxury". Big Pros: View, peaceful, space (we hardly saw many other guests and had the patio to ourselves most of the time), We enjoyed the design of our room and how spacious it was. Pretty good: The restaurant has a great view and food is decent. Particularly enjoyed breakfasts here. We did not eat dinner here. The walk to Chinas Conches Beach is very nice, it could be challenging for some on the way back however. My suggestion is to hit the beach, then dinner at Lindomar resort restaurant for sunset then uber up. Staff are very helpful, but my suggestion is to use whatsapp to communicate so there is no language barrier. Cons: If you want to be near the action, this isn't the place. you will have to to spend 10-15 minutes getting downtown in an Uber. Not a big deal, but something to consider. There are very few options for food nearby. The only complaint I have about our room, was there were 3 safety lights that had to be on thru the night directly outside our massive sliding door/window in the Jaguar room. There were blackout blinds, but it still would shine in around the edges creating the illusion that the sun was always up. It would be nice if these were on a motion sensor.

As seniors it would have been helpful to know there were no elevators. Only issue was getting our luggage down and up to our room and again when leaving. Staff were most helpful but it was heavy for them.We weren’t travelling lightly as we are away for a month.

Patio Azul was excellent!! The staff was so kind and the property is amazing! The view from the property is spectacular we watched the sunset every night. It is a quiet area with not a lot of shopping or restaurants around, but it was a cheap uber ride to the boardwalk. We loved how quiet is was and when we wanted action and noise we could easily get to town. There are small beaches super close which are lovely the only thing was if we were hungry we would have to go into town or eat at the hotel. Definitely recommend this hotel for a quiet get away.

Beautiful room and the view was stunning. The walk from the beach to the hotel is steep so you definitely get your leg workout in! Loved how quiet it was. Access to PV was easy by bus or walking along the beach trail.

We stayed at the property for 9 days. The room was clean and comfortable. Great views and outdoor area. Front desk and cleaning staff were both very good. We tried to have breakfast and gave up after our second visit. The food was very good. However, the waitress was indifferent at best and extremely slow. Appeared she would have rather been doing something else. Never smiled and had no expression. No coffee refills offered. We decided we're better off to walk into the romantic zone (Cocos - very good) each morning where we felt welcome, with quick and excited service. We didn't mind the workout down the hill along the beach and back. It's a big one. Would loved to have enjoyed the pool but was never heated and quite cool. Overall nice place but the restaurant/bar service was so lacking that we'd prefer to stay at another location next time. This is not our first rodeo. Multiple trips in North America and internationally, annually.

Overall it was a decent place to stay. Locationwise it was inconvinient. It's significantly far from Zona Romantica and Downtown, so you can't take walk and have to rely on Uber. No place to eat or any stores near by. As per hotel, views are great and drinks were good. Although facilities felt neglected, pool temperature was cold and there were issues with noise through walls and fire detector batteries. It felt like 4 star hotel, maintained and run like 3 star. So marking it decent stay.

Property were clean, quiet, calming, and beautiful <3 The food is reasonable with the price. The view was amazing. It had pool, cold and hot jacuzzi. The only problem is that it is hard to bus to get to the area, prolly need to taxi/uber most time to get to downtown, etc.

A hidden gem! Incredible views and sophisticated design elements- love this place. Downside is no elevator and no bellman to help us up and down a long staircase to our room. WiFi was inconsistent also. Still a great value.

Not worth the price tag. When we checked in, they tried to make us pay again. Hd to show whole transaction record to prove we had already paid. Staff barely acknowledged us the entire week. Jacuzzi was a tepid pool with jets. Room was clean- kind of. Residual toothpaste on the bathroom wall, etc. Be aware that this hotel is quite a hike up a windy narrow road with no sidewalk!! Looks close to amenities on the map, but reality is that it is a $100 MXN every time you want to grab a coffee or go shopping. They got 2/3 stars from me as it was not terrible, but definitely not great.

Está un poco más aislado del resto de hoteles, muy tranquilo. Comida rica y en general bien, pero son un poco lentos. Algunos detalles estéticos en las habitaciones, el A/C comenzó a tirar agua afortunadamente ya cuando estabamos a punto de hacer el check out.

AC went out every night of my stay and had to be reset externally Wall and ceiling damage from storm flooding/ damage Large gaps between door and floor so large insects can easily enter and as it’s in the sun the temperature is difficult to maintain without always using AC, when I entered the room on check-in it was like a sauna Not an accessible hotel as there is no elevator but a long stairway from the lobby to the pool and then more stairways either up or down a whole floor to get to the rooms but I appreciate front desk offering to help with luggage Bed was comfortable, pool was warm and hotel restaurant was good for breakfast and front desk was helpful to call a taxi when needed.

Gorgeous views, very clean, extremely comfortable beds, quiet surroundings. The food was excellent, the air conditioning was outstanding, the showers had hot water every time, bottled water was provided, and the staff could not have been better. Freddy is exceptional, kind, professional, and knowledgeable, he will make your day every day! I couldn’t have been happier! Town is a short taxi ride away, and so is the beach. The only down side is that the spa is closed.

Me encanta este hotel. Desde que lo conozco, siempre llego aquí. Esta ocasión fue una mala experiencia con mi estancia de 3 noches. El aire acondicionado nunca funcionó correctamente. Pedimos apoyo en cambiarnos de habitación y no lo hicieron. Dejaron nota en recepción de nuestra solicitud y jamas nos hicieron caso. Eran las 09.00 de la mañana y no había nadie en cocina! Ni siquiera para preparaos un café. O darnos opción. Solo nos comentaron que aun no llegaba la cocinera y que venía tarde. Los pisos solo los barrieron y jamas los trapearon o desinfectaron. Me quedé a trabajar un día en la habitación y el calor horrible, los 3 días sin servir. Quedaron en enviarnos un "pingüino" y jamás llegó. La ropa de cama que pedí me cambiaran, estaba para llorar...en pésimas condiciones que por el color amarillento ya ni se antojaba dormir. Siempre recomendé este hotel, pero veo que hay cambios de personal. Ni modo. Esta vez me quedaron mucho a deber.

Excelente atención. Detalles bastante incómodos.
La estancia fue grata. Sin embargo tienen detalles que atender, en especial nuestra habitación asignada estaba a 10 pasos de la cocina, sin ninguna barrera acústica, por lo que nuestro despertador era el servicio de alimentos en la mañana, y todo el día había ruido hasta que cerrara la cocina. Reportamos varias fallas de mantenimiento que no fueron atendidas: la más grave es que había problemas con la mezcladora de agua que tiraba agua, la ventana del baño no abría y la extracción de aire eléctrica era insuficiente. La cerradura fallaba cada noche y había que pedir un cambio de llave. Las habitaciones tienen instalados ventiladores que utilizan un control remoto de radiofrecuencia, por lo que si en otra habitación encendían la luz o el ventilador, se encendía en nuestra recámara también, lo cual era muy incómodo. El trato del personal siempre fue amable.

Positief: Staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten, comfort kamer
Patio Azul - respite from the “real world”
This is our second time at Hotelito Patio Azul. We will be back again. Although there are always several people staying at the property, it feels like you have the place to yourself. We spent hours in the pool with barely anyone else also taking a dip. Service at the restaurant and pool bar is remarkable. The gentleman that takes care of the patio for breakfast was incredibly friendly and extremely attentive. The pool bar attendant made the best pina coladas, mojitos and micheladas. I have a couple of small gripes: - the A/C had to be restarted twice on this visit and it took a while to get the room cooled down to a comfortable temperature - it’s super unconvenient to have to get pool towels from the lobby. These should be by the pool as is typical hotel convention. Other than that, you really can’t beat this boutique hotel in PV for price versus amenities. We 100% will be back. Thanks!

Beautiful boutique hotel with a million dollar view from each levels. Staffs are super friendly and helpful. We would totally recommend it and definitely will come back again!
