Excellent location to spot monkeys and birds from your breakfast table! Must have 2-4 HR tours you should book “best chocolate tour” (200m from hotel) and Finca Sura ananas tour incl lunch 2.5km from hotel. Friendly staff! Kids friendly they love it!

Avontuurlijke excursies in forest
Super plek! A must see!! Rainforest met hangbrug voor eccursies met uitstekende gidsen. Met 2 restaurants eraan vast gelegen. 1 met locaal buffet voor vooraf betalende gasten. En indien niet met diner inclusief dan is er ook een keuze uit een goed italiaans restaurant. Goed uitgebreid ontbijt buffet. Met vogel voeder plaats aan t restaurant. Super! Overkapte gangen naar kamers met tuin aan zijkanten en trail.

goed voor 1 keer
Hotel is verouderd, er liepen veel werkmannen rond en nadat de kuisvrouwen geweest waren hebben we nog andere mensen van het hotel in onze kamer gezien wat we raar vonden, ik had hierdoor niet zo'n veilig gevoel.. er waren meerdere scholen aanwezig waardoor de ontbijtruimte meer op een refter gelijkt. De natuur was wel tof.

Het hotel heeft een ouderwetse uitstraling. Ze hadden onze boeking niet en vervolgens werden we in de andere kamer geplaatst. Toen we klaagden dat het een andere kamer was dan geboekt werd bij hoog en laag vol gehouden dat het toch echt dezelfde kamer was terwijl hij 1,5 keer groter was. Verder erg apart dat je niet zelf in het woud mag rond lopen (deur van de brug zit op slot)

Rooms are shabby for 95 euro. Pls renew them inside. Outside looks better.. looks like a deal with the agencies . Good if youre more interested in their activities at the center . Would not go back.

prima lokatie, echter ook dichtbij doorgaande weg. Ruime kamers, maar alles erg donker, zeker op een regenachtige dag. Restaurant was goed, wel beperkt aanbod, hoofdzakelijk pasta en pizza.Mensen zijn minder vriendelijk dan wel tot heden gewend zijn in Costa Rica.

Don't hesitate - Excellent Lodge
This is a cannot miss for eco travelers and for families. Excellent comfort, food, wildlife! I have stayed here 8 times, this is the first time for my family and it was their favorite location of three in Costa Rica. Excellent!!

The property was conveniently located off a major highway. It was nice to have covered walkways between the rooms and dining area to protect from the rain showers. There was a lot of greenery which provided a safe haven for frogs and other creatures. The hotel offered a lot of tours, although some of them you had to take a taxi to get to which cost extra. They also have tours onsite on their nature preserve. It is an excellent location for birders and nature lovers. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The property is very near to the Sarapiqui River. WiFi coverage was available throughout the property. There was a gift shop onsite. Highly recommend for birdwatchers and nature lovers. We enjoyed the night hike and the morning hike with the expert guide at the lodge. It has an attached authentic Italian restaurant which was unusual for that area of Costa RIca.

It was a beautiful property with very nice staff but it wasn't as expected. It is on a main busy road. We thought we were going to be in the middle of the rainforest. The rooms were very nice and the food was good. Loved watching the birds from the balcony but was hoping for a quieter setting l.

We like the room very much and the pool was lovely. The front desk staff was very helpful in arranging great activities. We did not enjoy the sounds and smells from the construction. We also would have like more self-guided walks.

Loved the covered walkways. We were literally walking in the rainforest! Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, eggs, bean and rice. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was large and clean. Very eco friendly. Ours was by the river and the sound was wonderful. My only complaint is that they claim to have a hot tub. It's there, but no heat and no jets. Should be called a small pool instead.

2 nights as part of tour but loved it so much we came back following week for another 2 nights , as a wheelchair user it was designed brilliantly the covered concrete walkways level access restaurant, so much wildlife within the hotel grounds no need to leave , so many amazing birds , to sit and have breakfast and watch the bird feeding station , a lovely idea which we really enjoyed . The rooms are a little dated but spacious and comfortable. My partner did a walk with Randy and really enjoyed it . All the staff are so helpful we definitely return thanks so much .

Super endroit !
Superbe emplacement dans la jungle, la chambre était très sympa et l'hôtel dans son ensemble a beaucoup de charme. Petit déjeuner très bien. Les horaires pour les restos et le bar sont trop stricts, dommage. Dernière heure pour aller manger 19h, c'est trop tôt pour des européens ! Pas donné certes, mais vraiment agréable !

This type of property is for travelers that are not looking for luxury or modern conveniences. It is basic and clean. The staff is wonderful and for the naturalist it is in a perfect setting. We enjoyed our time here.

Das Personal war sehr nett und bemüht. Das gebuchte Zimmer war jedoch nicht verfügbar. Nach 3 Stunden und 2 zusätzlichen Zimmeralternativen landeten wir schließlich in der entfernten Bungalowanlage.
