Location quite central close to pantai cenang, walkable to different restaurants, but the area next to the hotel was a bit run down. Our first room had city view but that view was very sad, there were a lot of deserted houses. Also lot of construction going on quite close to hotel. 'Really amazing place. If you are up for a super relaxing stay, Ambong Pool Villas is a great option. Super helpful staff are reachable via WhatsApp all day to provide service and advice. You can choose meals in your villa or in the resort restaurant. The villas are meticulously cleaned twice a day, including the pools (to remove leaves etc). The view of the surrounding environment from inside the villa is enhanced by huge windows that face the pool. Lots to observe, both flora and fauna....

'Een leuk kleinschalig hotel. De eerste kamer die we kregen was niet heel groot en gehorig. Na een korte review naar hotels.com (Het hotel kreeg de review ook te zien, bleek later). Want we kregen een upgrade. We kwamen terecht in de suite met jacuzzi. Een grote kamer aan het zwembad. Het personeel is top! Heel erg vriendelijk.Het ontbijt is redelijk.
