Dad’s 80th birthday get together
Had a quick 4 day family get together at the house and everything was wonderful. We used kayaks and bicycles as well as the pool. I cooked our meals and the kitchen was super complete and organized: used the oven and grill as well. Was the perfect place for our family get together. Even had movie night on the big sofa. Punta Gorda Getaway
This is a beautiful and well maintained home in a fabulous location. Grace has thought of everything. We found Villa Hibiscus comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We spent a good deal of time relaxing in the pool. Go to Fishermen's Village to watch the sunset. It's a fun atmosphere. We were pleased with the restaurants in the area, especially Maury's at Sunseeker Resort. Grace has great suggestions for where to eat. I would stay here again without hesitation, I truly loved my time at Villa Hibiscus.

A very pleasant vacation rental.
The property was immaculate in all respects. The kitchen was thoroughly equipped and the dinnerware included everything needed for preparing and serving complete meals. The dinning table chairs could use updating, but otherwise the furnishings were very comfortable. The pool is well maintained. The house itself has been well maintained. Everything was in good working order—from the appliances to the lightbulbs. All things considered, this was one of the best short term rentals we’ve experienced. Grace works hard to see that everything goes smoothly.

Great Stay!
We had a great stay with 2 adults and 3 children. The property was easy to find and a convenient location for our time in Punta Gorda. Everything was as promised and I would gladly stay again if needed. We had planned on having a few more guests stay, but they could not make the trip. This house was the perfect size for our group, it would have been tight had they come. The Owner was responsive and even replaced a burnt out pool bulb withing hours of us calling.

Perfect home for our family over Christmas holidays. The home was so very well equipped - including paper products and spices. Great sound system. Immaculate. Communications with Grace were wonderful. Pool is heated but a very cold snap hit Fla, so we could not enjoy it. Highly recommend this home.

Amazing stay again!
Love love love this house. Second year here and owner takes such good care of it. Many updates, flooring, couches, outdoor furniture. Grace is so easy to communicate to and responds immediately. Enjoyed the bikes, kayaks and sitting on the dock. Even say some dolphins!

Lovely Pool Area with Table

Jacob and his family left my home in a very bad state. We do not allow smoking on the property. He violated this and other house rules. My cleaning team was horrified by what they saw and documented. I would not recommend this guest under any circumstances. The home is beautiful and kept in an immaculate state for all of our guests as reflected in the reviews.

Quiet and lovely
House was very clean and well equipped. Neighborhood is quiet and easily accessible from downtown. Owner is delightful to deal with and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our all too brief stay. Garage for our car was a real plus.

Everything I wanted.
My family and I had a wonderful time. It was nice, peaceful and quiet. The home was beautiful and clean. Sunsets over the canal were gorgeous. Pool was fantastic. Punta Gorda would be a lovely place to live. Grace was so helpful and nice. I would definately love to come back again.

Great house and location, had a great time with family and friends.
everything was perfect.. when I saw pets welcome and boat lift on ad I booked it then found out its $200 extra for each so I had to leave dog at home and choose not to use lift. Everything else was perfect and we would book again.

Wonderful home
Grace was very accommodating and very responsive. The home is beautiful and very well appointed with everything you could need. The only suggestion I would give is the boat lift needs the runners redone as the wood is bare. We didn’t use the lift and glad we didn’t pay the extra money. Other than that, the home was perfect and in a great location.

Paradise in Punta Gorda
Paradise found! Our family really enjoyed our Minnesota winter escape at Hibiscus Villa. Grace checked in with us through the VRBO app to see if our stay was going well and thoughtfully offered to accommodate any needs we had. Upon entering Villa Hibiscus, you are greeted with double patio doors overlooking your paradise patio, fully covered lanai, and private pool. There are no less than 12 palm trees and red blooming hibiscus bushes surrounding your private saltwater pool. The saltwater pool is so awesome because it is kinder to swimwear and colored hair! The canal is clean and clear and the home is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The pool is surrounded by four sets of patio doors. Two off the master bedroom, double set in the foyer, and two off the kitchen. The two off the kitchen are pocketed and open fully to the patio/pool. Everything you need for a complete vacation is here. Plenty of dishes, cookware, utensils, and spices, and various soaps available if needed. There is a desk and printer (with paper) at the top of the stairs. Other bonus items are: Ecowater (Reverse Osmosis System), 2 kayaks, grill, bikes with bike locks, beach chairs/towels, a couple coolers and fishing gear. There was even a couple frozen cocktail packs waiting for us in the freezer. Grace has it all covered. Our time at Villa Hibiscus was geared toward rest and relaxation, family time, and warm weather fun. As soon as we entered Villa Hibiscus, our first thoughts were, "Wow, this is going to be a FANTASTIC week!". Don't hesitate to book your stay at Villa Hibiscus. Many thanks again, Grace, for thoughtfully ensuring our needs were met and we had an awesome time on our vacation.

Heavenly Getaway at Villa Hibiscus
My family wanted a winter getaway from the East Coast and Villa Hibiscus met every need! From the beginning, Grace was extremely communicative about the property and addressing our needs of 4 family members needing WiFi for virtual school and work. Upon arrival, the house was perfect for our family. A large master bedroom on the main level with two bedrooms upstairs where the kids enjoyed their private time. The amenities are terrific in the house - a salt water pool, a dock with two kayaks, a large kitchen and family room with everything you need (nicely labeled to know where the pots and pans are located). The neighborhood is quiet and quaint. A few blocks walking distance - maybe 15 minutes - to Fisherman’s Village with lots of cute shops and restaurants. The sunsets off the backyard and deck are gorgeous! This was a once in a lifetime opportunity to take our school age kids away from home for several weeks given the virtual environment, but if I had the chance to do it again, we’d be back at Villa Hibiscus or any of Grace’s rentals in Punta Gorda in a heartbeat. She is an attentive owner and her personal touches - including a bottle of sparkling wine in the refrigerator upon arrival - show the care she has for her guests. I highly recommend this beautiful home.

Great house and location
I have utilized VRBO properties all over the world and this was one of the best equipped properties I've rented. All the basic spices, condiments, coffee, etc. were stocked. I loved the layout of the house with the master in one area with pool access, a double headed shower, jacuzzi, lots of closet spaces... The only inconvenience was the booking process. Due to Covid, our travel plans changed at the last minute and while I secured the rental and paid for it two days before our arrival, the owner apparently didn't receive the funds from VRBO and I had to send my credit card payment information and VRBO's confirmation and was still told I needed to call VRBO to determine what the problem was. Of course VRBO needed to be contacted directly by the owner. It was a hassle but in the end, it worked out.

Wonderful Property!
The property was just as advertised. It was spacious and clean. The patio area was very nice with the pool and overlooking the canal. The neighborhood and area is very nice. Fishermen's Village has a lot of nice restaurants with outside patio dining which is important with the Covid 19 situation and they are pet friendly!
